Here ya go... TLoU is higher than CoD on the Amazon best sellers of 2013...

What's really crazy is that the Last of Us outsold the 360 version of CoD: Black Ops 2!

Yep.... I understand... MS's position is that it is legally compelled to comply with US law....

Look at Google in contrast... Google refused similar requests and would not turn over user data... http://www.techspot.com/new...

The question is not "when will Sony pull the plug on the PS3", but "when will MS pull the plug on the Xbox 360"...

Sony has a history of supporting the PS1 well after the PS2 came into the market and the PS2 well after the PS3 came into the market (actually they only just stopped production on the PS2)... Will MS show the same respect to 360 owners that Sony has shown to its customers? Because MS certainly did not do that for original Xbox owners.

I hope it is real too, but it may not be...

From God of War Fan Fiction Wiki:

God of War: Redemption is a short story written by DBZGamingAddict. It details Kratos after he wakes up on the shrores of a destroyed island on the outskirts of Mount Olympus.

While I agree with you that the majority of people who bought Xbox 360s at launch were former PS2 owners, I don't agree about Sony's arrogance being the primary reason. IMO, there were 3 primary reasons that it took a while for the PS3 to catch up to (and overtake everywhere except in the U.S.) the 360 was due to:

1. The Xbox 360 being release a full year before the PS3. I know that you mention this issue in your post, but I think that this is the primary reason th...

I don't believe that they said "unlimited supply"... but the implication is that they have a lot more supply planned for the pipeline. As it gets closer and those the new supply dries up, they will probably stop taking pre-orders again. I would assume that Gamestop, Amazon, BestBuy, etc. knows what their initial allotments are going to be.

I agree... if there are 2 pallets of consoles at Best Buy, Target, Walmart, etc., and a parent comes in to buy their kid a holiday gift, which one do they choose, a console from the pallet that has a sign that says $399 (PS4) or the one from the pallet that says $499(XB1)?

Price is the biggest selling point in most consumers' minds. That is one of the reasons that the 360 did so well. They sold a SKU with a smaller hard drive, no wireless, etc.

The bundles at Amazon have either Battlefield 4, Killzone, Knack or Watchdogs, plus a PS+ card for less than (Knack) or equal to (B4, KZ, WD)the XB1 by itself!

Don't know if this has been reported, but I just looked and the PS4 comes with an HDMI cable and wired headset in the box. It looks like Sony has learned.... The Xbox One DOES NOT come bundled with an HDMI cable (not sure about headset)! Another couple of value added items with the PS4 included for $399! What a value compared to the XB1!

Wow... just, wow... I can't believe that this has not been picked up by some of the bigger sites that have been hypercritical of MS.

or have the option to change the order newest to oldest or oldest to newest.

You can actually still pre-order an Xbox One on Amazon U.S.

The PS4 launch edition, by contrast, is completely sold out and according to Amazon receipt of a PS4 at launch is not guaranteed at this point!

AMAZON NUMBERS:
PS4: 38,984
XB1: 2,162

Poor Microsoft... :)

In a vacuum, I am sure that there will be hardcore Xbox fans who will buy up the initial supply of Xbox Ones... Just like the hardcore PS fans will be lining up to buy out the initial inventory of PS4s.

The real question is what does the general public do? The mom or dad looking in Best Buy for presents to put under the tree this coming holiday season. When they see two pallets of game consoles side-by-side, with one pallet of game systems having a sign saying $499.00 (XB...

This isn't about giving Sony props for having exclusives and coming down on MS for the same. It is about MS's penchant for buying timed exclusives for 3rd party games.... Not about TRUE exclusives. No one gives MS crap about Halo, Forza or Gears of War. They are MS exclusives. Period. Great for MS that they have a few truly exclusive franchises. But, every time MS has announced an "Exclusive" from a 3rd party studio, the PS3 eventually got it,including DLC deals.

Amazon in the U.S. is not taking PS4 pre-orders. In fact, both the PS4 and Xbox One have "sign up to be notified when this item becomes available" on their respective pages.

What?

4652d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

What pre-orders on the PS4? I don't know anywhere where you can pre-order the PS4. Amazon and Game Stop are asking for your email to alert you as to when they will start taking pre-orders on both the PS4 and Xbox 1. If there are stores that are taking Xbox 1 orders (such as Blockbuster)does anyone know if they are also taking PS4 pre-orders? Perhaps that is why the Xbox 1 has more pre-orders!

Yeah... Sony appears to be doing a good job of keeping it a secret this time around!

I know that my son and I played Pain for hours and still occasionally load it up.... Pain has to be one of the most supported and updated games on the PSN, with new content and levels being added all the time during its life cycle.
