If you are working alone and have not published games before you are being unrealistic, try a smaller project before and once you have the knowledge and the resources to create something bigger do so.
I think it will be a while before you see a single card that gives as much performance for the money.
the 4870 is really impressive, now the 4870X2 is pure win. Great Performance per the money. Now nobody has a reason to think about Nvidia latest cards with their bloated price tags.
Who cares if it is 2 AMD4870 slapped together. It gives better performance than normal crossfire and the 4870 itself is pure win.

To maximize their sales, the PC version should be simultaneously released with the console versions or soon after. Waiting usually kills the hype and the PC version could benifit from console hype.
Here's hoping the PC version is announced, I love Capcom and their games.

Reviewers rate based on hype. When the PC game is better they give it a lower score simply because there'sn't as much hype for it.
For Example, look at that piece of crap site 1up.com, they gave the PC version of Devil May Cry 4 C+ while the consoles had B+, even though the PC version was better.
Piracy is the bane of PC gaming, and causes so many lost sales.

BTW, Devil May Cry 4 is a good port and game and should receive good sales. Hope it becomes digitally distributed and sells well.
I really hope that Valve is not bought, especially not by Microsoft or Sony because the PC would get the short end of the stick. Can you imagine Half-Life going timed exclusive for a year or more on the 360? That would suck.

Other than SLI, their chipsets are great overclockers. I think Nvidia as of late has been getting the short end of the stick from the press because they dominated the market for a long time, they are becoming the new scapegoat.

Also, video game fanboys are the worst kind. The little kids are ruining videogames and have too much power. Look how they react when you criticize GTA4 or Metal Gear 4.

I disliked Supreme Commander, though it was technically impressive, it was quite daunting. This game I feel will be better.
