Crysis 1 is what made the franchise. CryEngine 2 was a huge investment for Crytech, CryEngine 3 wasn't a big jump, just made it compatible with consoles.

I enjoyed a lot of Dragon Age 2 writing (especially the companions banter) but fuck, the forced openness in sexuality wasn't well done. They should have made it more subtle/less forced or kept in mind many of us are still not open or comfortable with it.
