I gotta say, he's got a point there. Grow up guys.
I still am angry at him for all the crap he said about PC and not bringing Gears to PC.
Dragon Age 2 will hardly be better on PC than consoles. I played the PC demo, they removed the extra features that made it worthwhile to get on PC.
I would say it would be better on consoles, since you will have to use the gamepad, which the game was designed for.
Nintendo just changed tones. They weren't big on the whole online thing. They just saw the money wrong and thought "jee, we were wrong, this prints money".
Expect Nintendo to jump wagon on such a money making scheme. Charging people for steam like services FTW. I don't know how M$ pulled it off. Oh, with gazillions of marketing, that's how.
Now I really won't have to think about which RPG's to buy. Thank you Bioware for making my choice easier with Dragon Effect 2.
Please let the Witcher 2 and Neverwinter Nights be released earlier.
I played the PC Demo and this game is shit. a consolized piece of crap.
They should have kept the game playable for the PC. Without the far view of the first the game is a chore to play.
The game focus is on consoles apparently, good for the console fans.
And the Graphics have improved? It looks like the artistic design is worse.
The whole point of indie games is that they provide creativity and good gameplay with a limited budget.
I would rather the limited resources are spent on polish and the actual meat of the game rather than something redundant like achievements.
So no, we don't need achievements with indie game unless they are established and the developers feel they can patch it in.
Play the Crysis Mod Mechwarrior, I forgot what it is called but I hear it is pretty sweet, they recently released the beta version.
What are you talking about?
It's not Valve, it's THQ's call.
Finally seeing someone talking sense.
I run Crysis 1 on 2X5770 at very high settings at 1680*1050 resolution.
I gotta say it is surprising seeing the game running like this on consoles, it's looking good to me. Of course, Crysis 2 doesn't have the huge environments Crysis 1 did.
Graphics look good on 360 what are you guys talking about. I hate the 360 but from seeing the game from online video it's looking great.
Crysis 1 looks much better IMO mainly because it had a different setting and beautiful expansive environments. with 2 ATI cards running on crossfire, it looks amazing at very high settings..
But I gotta say, Crytek is doing well at pushing the console version of Crysis 2 and keeping smooth frame rates.
Please lord, save Fallout from Bethesda,
and if it is not too much to ask,let interplay regain its former glory and release a great Fallout game. Still, if it isn't too much to ask, make the next fallout Turn-based like the original...Better still, let them hire all the Black Isle guys back.. Amen.
I've said once and I say it again, I don't want Dragon Effect 2.
Please, don't kill traditional RPG's, I don't want to play an action/RPG hyprid, there are enough of those...
Looks like Bioware is going to disappoint a lot of its traditional RPG fans.
No More Cake Jokes?
What? Seriously? Someone has to die, that was the best thing in Portal 1.
Nah, you're not the only one.
But also the removal of the Isometric view for the PC version, it seems the focus is more to provide a similar experience for the 3 platforms.
He's just too Jewish.
(Disclaimer: I mean the greedy banker Jew type, not normal decent Jews).
I love this franchise,
even though it never changes much, it is still addictive. I thought Nival did a pretty damn good job with the last franchise, especially Tribes of the East.
I hope Orcs return with their blood rage, that was awesome. I also hope they keep the double upgrade path concept.
The PC version photos on http://www.pcgames.de look so much better than the 360 it isn't funny.
It isn't just the resolution, it's the textures and the blur effects. The 360 version does look like a low settings PC game.
I didn't expect such a difference, good to see Valve is giving it all on the PC.
I'm definitely getting this. Sept has so many good games coming out on PC in such a short period. I just got RE5. Problem is too little time to play.
They sent the money no strings attached. It was really a clever idea and I would be really laughing out hard. This is really great marketing since they knew that reviewers will start talking crap about them.
Too bad the game isn't coming to PC, I would have given it a try.
What was stupid was Kotaku's reaction.
Kudos to EA, I like them more and more each day.
No Cliffy B. Most games are actually Middle Class.
Hype makes a huge variance. For instance, Grand Theft Auto 4 was a middle class game. But ZOMG, hype and marketing and it was getting 10's everywhere.
