Cmon for God's sake, that's coming from the guys who played Skyrim on release despite all the bugs.
RPG games, big and good ones are destined to have bugs. For instance, even Mass effect 3 has some game breaking bugs, and Bioware is much bigger than Obsidian. Also Fallout New Vegas was using Bugthesda's Engine, and they did the QA so Obsidian can't be blamed for that.

Obsidian makes great RPG games. Hell, New Vegas eclipses Fallout 3 and even the DLC was awesome. The weapon variety and factions and story arcs were astounding.
NWN2 and Mask of the Betrayer had some of the best dialogue and party banter I have seen in a game.
Plus, I would kickstart any game Chris Avellone works on. I am dying to see what the old Black Isle can achieve without a publisher breathing do...

Just a question guys, if I buy the physical copy of this game and install it, tying it to my account, and two years later I decide to give it to my brother, will he be able to install and play it without paying again?
I noticed this kind of problem with my brother, even if Starcraft 2 is installed on my computer, in order for him to play it and save, he has to use my account?

1) Because they don't need to, they have the funds to make it happen, they just don't believe it would sell.
2) They have a reputation to keep. And Journalists and players' alike feedback would be mostly negative about a corporation that actually takes gamers money to make a game.
3) The guys who can do this are guys who have a proven record and are passionate about the games. I guess they could be called small developers.
