EXACTLY what I said.
Here's my question:
Let's say this whole thing with the DRM never happened or both parties were down with the DRM program for the new consoles and gamers around the world accepted the new rules... whatever. My question is: Then what exactly would be the case to get a PS4 and what's so special about the PS4 that makes it the system to get? I haven't seen anything in terms of games worth getting excited about on the PS4 yet I keep hearing about how "Sony is...
So let me get this straight. When Sony "listens" to their customers, it's a good move. When MS does the same, it's considered to be a sign of weakness. Am I correct?
And seriously, what exactly was this huge wrong that MS was trying to pull? The DRM thing? I think people had a problem with it because of the way it was presented. Everyone was confused. MS definitely dropped the ball in assuming that everyone would take to their new gaming enforcements, I'...
Not free stuff necessarily but not the glut of DLC content that they seem to excel at getting out there. It kills me to get charged for stuff that was the norm back in the day, what can I say? This is the same company that charged for a VS mode in Resident Evil 5! Someone get the leash out and control this!
I would love to see a return to sprite based fighters starting with a Marvel vs. Capcom 4. That last one... it was okay but nowhere near the level of MvC2.
I'm all for a new Street Fighter but what I'm not onboard for is getting fleeced for my money with a ton of DLC and upgraded sequels coming out mere months after the initial release. Give the fans a sense that you appreciate them, Mr. Ono and give us more for our cash instead of making us pay for different costume colors that fighting games of old provided at no extra cost to the player. I really don't want to remember Capcom as the company that wants to milk me for the tiny bit o...
There's no denying that the Xbox One has a better lineup of games so far. I keep hearing Killzone this Killzone that... that series is known for nothing else than looking awfully pretty. I've grown up. I expect a lot more from my games than just gorgeous graphics. That's not to say that PS4 won't have some amazing games in the future because they surely will. But as of right now, I've seen nothing that makes me want to preorder a PS4. That being said, I'm almost afraid...
The PS3 technically was a more powerful system than the Xbox 360 and look how that turned out. Numbers mean nothing. In the end, it all comes down to the games.
The description above says, "Spoilers Ahead." And the title alone should have warned you.
That was a really good article. You guys should get over the whole 7.5 business and just read it because it's a well written piece that would appeal not just to fans of the games but people interested in possibly writing games of their own and general story deconstruction. Besides, what does it matter what someone else thinks about something that you yourself have loved? Haven't any of you ever been the sole person amongst your friends to hate something that they all seem to love? It&...
I think a lot of people are going to be eating their words come November.
See, this is video game journalism done right. No flamebaiting, no biased nonsense, just straight reporting.
Not sure if it would be as simple as that. The tech on the Kinect 2.0 seems pretty ridiculous, with it being able to read much more than the first one did. I honestly can't wait to try it out. The original Kinect worked pretty well but it seems like they took this new one and swung for the fences with it.
By including Kinect 2.0 in the box, developers won't be hesitant to support it. Guaranteed that you will see much more done with the Kinect than you will with the Sony camera. Every Xbox One sold will have a Kinect included. The PS camera will be sold separately and won't have a high adoption rate.
I'm not worried at all. When they had the red ring problem, MS took care of it. I'm confident that the Xbox One will have full tech and replacement support as well.
Last of Us was more intense than scary. The scariest games I can think of at the moment are Dead Space and Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly.
Am I the only one who cracked up after reading that headline? You gotta admit, that's pretty funny stuff.
The demo for Resident Evil 5 controlled so stiffly that I honestly thought the game would be complete garbage. The retail edition was a lot more polished thankfully. I may be one of the few who loved RE5.
For me, it wasn't so much the timed gameplay as it was the combination of timed gameplay coupled with the horrible A.I. of the survivors you were trying to escort. It wasn't uncommon for me to yell at my television constantly.
"Yeah sure, why don't you go running directly into that crowd of zombies? Go ahead! Who wants to get saved anyway?"
Actually, you're off on two big points. The Xbox One is region free. And how many people actually have a Vita as opposed to the number of people who have a smartphone? You really think everyone who buys a PS4 is going to throw another $350 down for a Vita? Yeah, okay.
