It's amazing how people are taking every single thing in regards to Microsoft and the Xbox One and making it into a full spectacle. Are people really that afraid of the system being better than the PS4 because that's what this all boils down to.
OMG must cancel my preorder nao
And even now, I have yet to see one PS4 title that packed a punch like Titanfall did. I will eventually get a PS4 but only when they show me something worth getting excited over. I simply find it funny that people are trashing the Xbox One left and right, yet out of both systems they're the only ones showing games worth getting excited over. And before anyone mentions Killzone, pretty graphics do not make a good game, just look at KZ2 and 3.
It's not like the Wii U doesn't have a couple of good games to offer. I just think Nintendo needs to get with the times. They're basically still doing the same stuff that they were when the NES dropped. Stubbornness in business can only get you so far.
Preordered mine the moment I got home after seeing the Titanfall reveal. Sad that I'll have to wait a while for that but I'll have Dead Rising 3 and Battlefield 4 to keep me company until then.
Heh heh. Hank Moody forever!
Sounds awesome. Hope this next gen really brings out the creativity from these studios.
And most of them are on GTA Online. Really, REALLY hoping that the online portion finds its audience. For reasons I will never understand, GTA IV online never seemed to fully catch on and is pretty dead these days. I saw more crazy things happen playing that game online than in any other game I can think of. Crossing my fingers.
Is it REALLY that bad? I'm seriously debating it but the fact that it has actually gone down that low in price really makes you wonder about how bad it is.
I played the demo and it felt kinda meh to me. For $10 though, it sounds like a steal but for such a high profile game to go down in price so soon after its release makes one raise their eyebrows.
Ok guys and gals, to all of you who have played this game, is it that bad that I should avoid at all costs or is $10 a reasonable price?
It just makes me sad that people think all gamers are the type to threaten industry people when they hear these kinds of stories.
Looking forward to this. As much as I enjoyed Dead Space 3, it wasn't anywhere near as scary as the first in the series. Really hoping that Mikami-san brings the scary back.
Not surprised at all. Game is still gonna sell though. My money is on Battlefield 4.
Gamestop is actually offering a $50 credit buyback on Xbox 360/PS3 games that are also appearing on Xbox One/PS4 to make the jump easier to swallow. Gotta give them props for that.
Nope. First time for the series as far as I can tell and I've played the hell out of all of them.
I'll take Forza over Drive Club any day of the week. Killzone has always been about graphics and boring gameplay. Knack? I'll take Project Spark over that, thank you. Warframe is expected to release on the XB1. Nothing on this list even comes close to Titanfall or Dead Rising 3, with the exception of InFamous and even then, I'm just being generous.
The Titanfall devs had very good things to say about the cloud and frankly, I think I'll just skip all the speculation on the N4G boards and trust in the words of the developer of what was easily one of the very best games at E3.
I don't care how many reversals Microsoft pulls although I am slightly bummed that they're making these changes to appease the masses who just can't stop complaining. Regardless, I'll still take the XBox One over the PS4 at this point because the PS4 has yet to impress me with anything they've shown. The PS4 will definitely have some killer titles in the future but as of yet, what have they shown that makes this system the one to get over the XB1?
If this was about the Xbox One, they would have reported that the displays weren't properly installed. Not how but just something overheard through hearsay.
