Don't buy into this. You'd have heard about this already if it were the case. I know that cable TV surround sound isn't available yet on the XB1 via HDMI but there's no way that this thing won't be belting out surround sound. Gimme a break.

And it's because of that very same TLoU review (which I happened to think was spot on, even though I loved that game) that everyone is so willing to write off Polygon, which is a crying shame.
Polygon looks like they're trying to bring integrity back to gaming journalism, not appease a bunch of fanboys by giving big games high numbers just to satiate them. Gamers were furious that TLoU received a 7.5 EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD NO REFERENCE POINT WITH WHICH TO DISAGREE WITH...
Hilarious. Yesterday, a bunch of people were trolling the boards talking about how user reviews on certain games (Ryse in this instance) don't count because of obvious bias and that we should all wait for reviews from more "professional" sources. Forza 5 is getting great reviews from "professional" sources and according to most of you, it's because they're getting paid off.

It's funny, I'm buying Forza for two reasons:
1) to see how the new controller works in conjunction with it; the rumble triggers piqued my curiosity
2) to entertain my four year old who loves cars

I already get this with my PS3 when I'm playing certain Blu-Rays... what's the big deal? Unless this is what they're using for the games themselves then that's another story altogether.
This is a really well written and concise review and confirms everything about the XB1 that I wanted to hear.
When I read comments like these, I think about all the idiots out there who have no clue that Sony is now requiring a subscription fee to play online as well.
