They always give the competition their props. I wouldn't be so quick as to write this off as marketing. Didn't Shuhei praise MS just earlier this week?
Cut off cable since I wasn't watching too much of it or anything else for that matter. On the plus side, I've saved a bit of cash but on the down side, there's always a show that comes up where I have to scramble and find a way or a place to watch it. I think I'm gonna sign back up though.
Glad you agree. Didn't get to watch any of last season though!
At this point, at least as far as launch titles go, XB1 has the better games. Sure, that's a subjective thing and I totally accept that while I'm looking forward to Dead Rising 3, someone else might not be interested in it at all.
Sony will definitely bring the big guns at some point in the future. Anyone who doubts that is an idiot, plain and simple. But hazy claims about what Naughty Dog will bring to the PS4 for example, especially when no one knows exactly what i...
How about they release a voice command for PS4 that goes something like, "PS4, hurry up and give me that 'greatness' already."
;)
Are you surprised? These guys plan ahead years in advance. It's not like they show up at these shows and just wing it.
Forget Shaquille O'Neal, Sony's throwing up the bricks now!
I've been saying the exact same thing about the PS4. I'll eventually get one when that one magical game comes out that leaves me with no choice but to jump onboard.
Beyond? Really?
You can forget about them NOT charging for online play. No way they're going to turn their back on all that potential cash.
My point is, at the end of the day, it really DOESN'T matter. Why? Apparently the Xbox One Ghosts looks absolutely fantastic in 720p. Not surprising. Also, the PS4 version at 1080p is being reported as not much of a difference from the XB1 version and also reported as suffering from a bit of chugging frame rates in spots.
My point is, if the game is great in that it looks great and plays great, why should the resolution matter so much? You'd be hard pressed to find a...
The Last of Us clocks in at 720p. Just curious to see if that disappoints you or not.
And those that disagreed with you should be beaten with leather Hello Kitty straps.
It's a lot closer to the original NES release, just spiffed up. Castlevania II wasn't exactly non-linear but it did play like an RPG.
A true classic. Still remember how impressed I was with this game when I first laid eyes on it. The music was also incredible.
Not getting this day one but after watching Ridley Scott's Gladiator over the weekend, I'm actually beginning to wish I'd preordered it.
This goes across the board for just about any story telling medium. If fans had their way with the Sopranos, every episode would have had at least fifteen whackings and lots more ziti.
A buddy of mine said that he had no intentions of paying to play online which was why he was going with the PS4. I didn't have the heart to tell him.
All you've gotta do is look at the majority of reactions to this on this comment thread and it boggles the mind. MS does it, it's the end of the world. PS4 does it and...? Ah, it's no big deal.
Incredible. Another footnote that Sterling should add to the Sony fans article he wrote a while back.
My God is the Sun.
