First off let me say I have all three "Next-Gen" consoles, and purchased all three at launch. If I had to do it all over again, I would have waited and just purchased the PS3, and here is why.

The PS3 does equal god. I have a picture of the PS3 hanging on my wall, and I bow down to it every day. On top of that whenever something bad happens, I promise the PS3 I will change a bad habbit forever if it would just help the situation.
Of course the Microsoft fanboys just do the same with their 360. It is a god/allah situation...

It is hard to believe that when N4G keeps posting these articles that would do nothing but enflame fanboys, that they would break the rules. It is like posting a pro-republican blog on dailykos or HuffPo and then asking the Democrats to not respond in a "fanboy" manner. If the Mods would just approve one or two article with the news, instead of hundreds of either Pro Sony or Microsoft articles saying the same thing, maybe fanboyism would not be as much of a problem.

Great post. I have all three "next" gen systems, and I used to LOVE my 360. However as of late I am having all sorts of disc read errors, slow disc loading and other such nonsense. If this continues I am going to purchase all multiplat games for the PS3, instead of the 360. (I admit I am a game score whore) This could be a huge year for the PS3.
While I had no console preference, I just enjoyed playing games, I am coming around to supporting only PS3. This past year has been frustrating, as I had not seen any good exclusives (besides Drake's and Resistance) and was beginning to regret my PS3 purchase. Even multiplat games where "better" on the 360 and I started to doubt my $500 purchase.....and then all of the sudden things have changed.

Truth be told I am more excited about Resistance 2. Gears is fun, but if Insomniac fixes some of the MINOR issues of Resistance, R2 is going to rock.
I picked up the last copy of COD3 with COD4 at Circuit City, and yes it was the gold edition. However i am bumming as I did not get a poster. =) It seems to me though that the best way to get the deal would have been to purchase online through circuitcity.com, as they had the deal on their site.
I had of course given Blockbuster my credit card when I signed up. Which I did not think was a big deal, as I thought they wanted it for people that did not return movies, or big ticket items. Face it, EA is developing their games for the 360 first, and then porting them over towards the PS3. This is why the PS3 version of all of EA's sports games are inferior. Maybe when PS3 overtakes the 360 in sales, the games will start to get developed on Sony's system first, and then ported over to the 360. Either way it is a "cheap" way to develop for systems that are completely different, but it is lazy. EA why not pony up some money, and develop for the PS3 versions earlier. ...
While I have yet to play Vampire Rain, I am pretty sure that game sucks hard, and the reviewers said so. (They where right about Bullet Witch, a game I thought deserved a play, and it was HORRID).
