This is my article, and I do not read HipHopGamer....it was a very weird day as it seems like everyone had a similar theme going on. How to fix PSN. All different ideas, but this just proves that whatever is wrong can be fixed easily. I will check out the hiphopgamer piece, as I doubt he was saying everyone should put pressure on Sony by actually using mics. That was my entire point...... That and a quick fix would be for Sony to use Skype instead of creating their own private chat networ...
You take the good with the bad. Yes more mics mean more swearing, brats, weirdos and rascists. However those of you that have not been on Xbox Live do not understand the bliss of coordinating with your team mates in defeating those instigators. Trust me, nothing better then chatting with your three mates in Left 4 Dead and getting all giddy when you defeat the other team. (I would bet that only 25% or lower on PSN have mics, not an actual stat, this has just been my experience.)
I just want to say that for everyone on here posting saying that they have a mic, that might be true, but I own both systems and people talk WAY more on Xbox Live then PSN. It has just been my experience. If only Sony had boxed in a mic, perhaps we would have private chat or a Skype type service by now. That was the whole point. With everyone having a mic, Sony would of been FORCED to already have added this feature.
The point is for you to think of a service such as skype. This offers FREE internet to internet 'calling' as well as a video interface. Sony also has teamed with skype with their PSP. Why not offer the same service, during game, through the xross bar?

While I am sure that this is an ok title (I hardly doubt it is some end all be all RTS) I do not think that Sony fans really care much if this one "kind of succeeds" or not. Obviously Sony 'droids' are not big Halo fans, or they would own a 360. DUH!!! But enjoy your AVERAGE rts, while we enjoy Killzone 2. Halo Wars might even sell a million copies, but it is really insignificant and is not a system seller by anymeans. By the way I am also a 360 owner, just not a big Halo guy. ...

Sigh. The Wii will be the worst thing to EVER happen to gaming. First third party titles do not sell well on the Wii, no matter what the quality. So publishers will continue to just pump out shovel ware in hopes of making a cheap buck. "Gamers" (soccer moms, 5 year olds) will eventually tire of this muck and stop buying games at all. Just a "cheap" tactic that can be used to block the entrances....and guess what, I know of 3-4 other areas where the hunter can move an object to block an entry point. Guess what though, the players can eventually move the item. The OP of this video that thinks it is a glitch is a total noob. Most of the people I have played with online know of these objects that can be moved and most people choose not to do it as it makes the game boring.
Ok, I will agree Sony needs to lower the price as of yesterday. The economic downward spiral has really hurt the "more expensive" (but better value) PS3. I will question what the percent drop or increase is WORLD WIDE from the years 2007 and 2008 for the month of November. Interesting choice, not the choice I would have made but at least it wasn't any of the super over hyped titles. (Gears 2, GTA IV) Maybe Xplay actually just chose a game the had the most FUN playing. What a strange concept. LOL. Yes Fallout 3 was a better RPG but was it a "funner" game to play? MGS4 easily more a piece of "art" then Fable 2, but again was it more "fun" to play?
