I would not consider myself a Sony fanboy at all, in fact I even own a 360 (which I play every once in awhile) However I do find myself defending/pimping Sony on this site as the PS3 got a raw deal the first year, the system is proving to be the best choice I made and to be honest the Sony fanboys are funnier then the Xbox fanboys. In fact lately the Xbox fanboys have just come across as desperate and whinny.

POG that surprisingly is a good point from you, yes this generation each console maker is offering us a lot of choice. As much as I love technology, Sony is on drugs if they think I am going to run out and purchase a super tv in the next year after just buying a new 42" LCD this year. Same with Microsoft if they think I am going to purchase a new console 4 years of the 360 launched. 6-7 years is the best turn around time. I just called Microsoft on Tuesday to have them mail me a coffin, and the agent told me that when your "fixed" console is shipped back Microsoft then extends the warranty out for one year. I just wish mine had been under warranty still so I didn't have to pay $100 to fix all the disc read errors I was having. I have been excited for Gears 2 since beating the first one within 6 hours on launch, however I must say that Resistance 2 currently has me more excited..(Especially considering I just mailed my crapbox to Microsoft so they could charge me $100 to fix their lousy last gen disc drive.)
