There are so many Vita launch games i want that its the first system launch that i wont beable to get them all
I watched the Sony CES press conference and Kaz said over half a million.
Kaz just said at Sonys CES press conference that they have sold 6.5m units of PlayStation formats over the holiday season and over half and million Vita's as of JAN 5th.
According to VGCharts. 29th OCT- 31st DEC
PS3= 6m
PSP= 2.1m
360= 7.2m
Wii= 5.9m
3DS= 8.3m
DS= 2.4m
I might play it if some1 gave it to me.
Normally for a system launch, there isnt enough games to get to keep me playing until the next batch of games comes around. But with the Vita there are so many games i want from launch that i wont beable to buy them all at once.
So for that reason, this Launch is the best any system has ever had.
Vita game downloads are all under 2gb. The PS4 game sizes will probably be 30gb+. I could buy a game off Amazon and have it delivery before a 30gb+ game would finish downloading.
Oh and that LiveArea for Vita hasnt really been talked about that much but its a great new feature that is a must for PS4.
Its easier to understand The Matrix code then this.
I remember when 1UP used to be amazing. With people like Garnett Lee, Mark MacDonald, John Davision and Shane Bettenhausen with the legendary 1UP Yours podcast. Jeff Green and Shawn Elliott with CFW podcast and the 1UP Show crew.
Then UGO fucked it up :(
Im also going the No.3 route. Ive got the 16gb pre-ordered.
There are some games I would want on me all the time like LBP, FIFA (other sports games), Sound Shapes, Wipeout. These games would be PSN downloads.
Retail games ill be getting games like Uncharted, Rayman. Because these are singleplayer games, once ive completed them there isnt much point to need them on the device anymore.
So the Vita drops from 72k to 41k and gets another long list of doomed articles. While the 3DS drops from 497k to 200k and the system gets '3DS still going strong' articles.
Hmmmm
PS4 development, no question.
@RedDeadDestroyer Sony didnt wait to E3 to announce the Vita in January 2011.
When new consoles come out the process of 'PC Gaming is Dead' articles will start again. But for me, PC is going to be my main platform even when the PS4/720 is out. Because there is no way in hell that the PS4/720 will have more GPU power than my 2 AMD HD 6970s.
The PS4/720 will beable to do native 1080p but ill bet money that developers after a few years will go back to 720p to make there games look even better and push more things on screen.
I wonder how far away we are to a PS4 announcement is it E3 2012 or a Vita like announcement which wasnt at E3.
We all know both Sony and MS have been working on there next consoles. I would even say we are so close to announcements that the specs are final.
The Vita started development all the way back in early 2008 and it only came out at the end of 2011. Thats close to 4 years development. So as a guess has the PS4 been in development since 2009 for a 2013...
What idiot would vote to pay more for the same game.
Yep PC gaming is dead. :s
Last year i played most PC games then PS3.
DO NOT GET Michael Jackson: The Experience.
Ive played it on the iPad and i was done with it within 30mins. The Vita version plays exactly the same as the iPad. But the iPad version only costs £2.99 compared to £35.
Asphalt and Dungoen Hunters are also iPhone/iPad apps.
Ubisoft is ripping people off with these game.
Anyway i cant wait to play Rayman on the Vita.
I liked the look of it when it was called Project Natal. But I just knew them tech demos and promo video were just not going to be what we get. Then when it got its Kinect name it turned to no thanks.
Thats why they have made a iPad looking device.
