Listen Microsoft is a trillion dollar company compared to Sony they may as well have have unlimited money. Windows and it business related products and services are an unending source of income.

They have been subsidizing game pass. One dollar even with huge games and funding development even when they were first starting out and the service was obviously not profitable. Heck you had Greenberg telling you as much just a few days ago and that is with a supposed 10 million su...

You don't understand Microsoft goal, PS+ is massivly sucessful, what they want is to force Sony to give up that revenue stream. Everything Microsoft does is about costing Sony money or users, because Microsoft has unlimited money and their long term goal is to force Sony out of gaming so they can control it like they do PC.

They are trying to make everything so cheap Sony can't afford to compete then when Sony is gone they can jack up prices and do whatever they wa...

I feel like the number of people making a big deal about this is WAY larger than the number of people who have actually complained about appropriation.

Just one more step closer to dropping the console and going services only.

PSNow list the amount of days left on the service from the very first day so you know exactly when they leave. Though I have noticed several games have gotten extensions as long as 3 more months and some games have started with 6 months.

Please provide your legal degree.

I can't claim to understand the legal ramifications completely. But I do know Sony controls the rights to marketing and things like toy sales, so it's very likely they could make a legal case that they control the rights to use in something like a video game.

Heck AMD's latest APU is pretty darn close to the One X. You can easily make a PC for $500 with that.

Yeah, but how many PC's are polled? It's like polls of people who game and counting people who use facebook web games.

You have to compare core gamers on PC to to console gamers to get an accurate picture which is why Steam survey fails to give an accurate representation of "PC gamers"

RamRod88,

Your whole argument is super shallow, it's just pretend that no financial aspects are involved with decision making or the future of xbox.

But i'll tell you what, it's one step closer to xbox being a service only.

Sony has repeatedly mentioned ray traced audio. It would be interesting to hear if that has a hardware implementation in Tempest.

They had to make up for the loss of sales revenue on their own platforms somehow. It would be interesting to see a break down of sales revenue comparing Windows store and xbox live to Steam. Something tells me they won't ever break it down like that though...

100+ FPS is a thing on PC because you can throw nearly unlimited power at it and have true customization from resolution to post processing. If making games look like they did two generations ago is what 120 fps looks like on console i'll pass.

I have been very pro fps but to 60 is what I was looking for. Why sacrifice so much to appeal to such a small audience that can take advantage of it? I can to some extent understand gaming trying to push the sales of other pro...

It says it's for cloud integration. This is almost certainly in relation to PS Now PS5 support.

Well they did have the humans but Phil axed a ton of studios.

You "hope" they are putting in effort but certainly Halo doesn't show it Grounded is another half baked release Bleeding Edge was half baked.

A lot of what i am saying isn't about numbers it's about releasing unfinished content. Like Sea of Thieves was Crackdown was State of Decay was.

The only two games they have really released complete and polished h...
