What hurts red dead redemption 2 the most is the mission structure, it's repetitive to the point it's unbearable, but when the game actually let's you explore that's when the brilliant writing shines, I just hope Rockstar looks at Elden Ring, Breath Of The Wild and their own old titles and remember that freedom is what made their games so good to begin with
Seeking new fans is good but making them your priority is suicidal, let me ask you why is Square Enix still valuable while barely few good games in 2 decades? Because of the fans that still love them because of their history, new fans don't know about the history therefore once you make a bad game they won't buy it, they are not loyal because they have no attachment, fans of old Square games would keep buying your crappy games because they are attached to you, they feel bad if they do...
God I love these kinds of statements, WHAT ELSE ARE THE DEVELOPERS GOING TO SAY "Our game sucks don't buy it LOL"?
It's not a pretty situation, but what you are saying is a double edged sword, from one angle yes the attention gives people power and influence changes in the industry, if one of the developers ran from the abuse then it makes the abusers think that they can make changes, but it's their fault, in the first place developers shouldn't have to handle this situation, but at least you should limit the damages if you can, the problem is not everyone are capable of not giving the abusers...
Everything about this game scream graphical showcase, and then everything else was done in a rush, story, characters, gameplay, mission structure, from what we have seen they are all half baked as hell
I love how such sites like to destroy social norms by enforcing social norms
Haha to each their own, I just don't like fanservice
Not my type of game because of all the fanservice in it, but at least a game like this being remade shows that the voice of an insane mind like Suda51 is still being listened to, which is good
Making a musou spin off about a specific game like age of calamity and Three hopes allows them to write a way better story, yet making it across the whole series allows for so much more creativity gameplay and design wise and since these games are gameplay focused I prefer the latter!
I thought they are making fun of their own previous comments but either way this situation became waaaaaay bigger than it actually is, it's worth forgetting about a minute later not having articles be made for it
To have a actual balanced situation where fans have the right to demand to get what the developer promised them to get, while the fans don't abuse that right by harassing the developers whenever they don't like something is IMPOSSIBLE!
Yes sometimes the developers do owe the fans, when I pay for a full product then I should get a full product, when you market the game in a way you owe me to give me what you promised, but this isn't the situation here, turning it...
Yeah but how much is that increase and how does it reflect on the difficulty, is it significant enough? Those are the things that you need to test out and for people who like to know if there's an easy mode before buying, they can't test it, I am just trying to discuss the matter, it doesn't affect me personally because I would just not use any of them!
Like Sullyscigar's comment says random people are given too much power while being protected for using the internet anonymously, social media gives random idiots infinite power and they abuse it, I think it's the job of the devs and the fans to shut these people down, freedom of speech is not freedom of harassment, but then another problem arises who desires what's a harassment and what's not? I think we can all agree that calling the devs names and wishing them to die is hara...
I am saying this from the perspective of someone who really loves games to be as difficult as possible, while the idea of Yoshi-P is solid, it is extremely vague, "increase the window of Blocks", how much? How easier does it make the game? Does someone need to go and test every single setting individually in all it's values to see what they are like?
While I am not a fan of difficulty settings at least it gives you a general idea on what to expect, I put tho...
That's one of the reasons why I always want to play games by kojima, good or bad he does crazy things that others don't so it's refreshing
"Someone actually finished a game by their own skill"
You mean like what happens with every game ever, the fact that Diablo have reached this point is just sad
I think the part about there being a few streams for big companies that you know everyone will watch at the same time is what made the hype going, there was like 10 streams this season, and it is not clear what show will offer what so confusion is easy, it's not a good idea for global interest
Everyone here have said all that can be said, the gaming world is better off without E3, the industry is witness a healthier cycle of announcements without it, but I have to admit if there was a positive about E3, it was knowing that the entire gaming world is watching the same trailer as you and losing their minds together, it is fun but it's not worth it!!
It's a mos, it's audience are challenge loving players, like the randomizer runs etc
Nintendo just announced they will shut down the stores for Wii U and 3DS in March 2023, seriously I don't know how is the industry supposed to move forward when any achievement of a game would be unavailable to play a decade later
