While it looks visually better than expected, I have a slight problem with the tone, there's a bit of a realistic art style in their design, it had these epic-style music which betray the theme of Mario, then it looks like it's trying to be serious with comedic subtext instead of the opposite, and then there's Chris Pratt that doesn't look like he's trying, you have people making shorts of Charles' voice instead and it sounds infinitely better

If Sony would make one it would likely be a movie to focus on characters in a "human" story rather than the deep lore and world building since the mindset is very different, I think Fromsoft can get their point across very well if they work with a anime studio from japan

Mainly Animated adaptations, look at a Netflix adaptation of anything and watch their own anime adaptations and you will see the difference, the ones people hate the most are live action adaption, because for some reason the instant someone tries to make a live action adaption of a game they decide to completely change everything about the story and characters until they are unrecognizable in every aspect!
I am waiting to ready more, since in the demo the gameplay was nice, but by god did the story look so rushed, it's like someone was skipping through random parts of a movie
I was heavily surprised by the demo, the gameplay was quite nice and fun, something that I don't associate with Square Enix lately, unfortunately it has clear performance issues, the game hardly ever reached 60 FPS on PS5, in the prologue the frames would go up and down that you can notice the hiccups, the first chapter was mainly indoors so the frame rate didn't jump up and down much but it wasn't 60 FPS at all
People will come hard on you for saying that, but what you said is the sad truth, it's not about who makes better games it's about who makes more money
