Change that 4 stars to 3 until they fix the damn grain glitch.
I'm hoping for 2-3 killer apps for core gamers. I absolutely love Move with Killzone 3, it would be a mistake by Sony to waste such great tech.
Move could extend the life of PS3s if sony markets it right.
Sony and MS must love COD, they must make so much off that 5-10 fee they charge for each game sold, talk about easy money.
I just want the expected upgrades plus no more than a $300 launch price and hardware reliability.
When I say expected upgrades I include the complete elimination of jaggies and sub-60 frame rate. Plus, add DTS and Dolby HD audio to all games.
Also, I want controllers that last as long as the console, this gen analog rubber got really cheap. Both my 360 and PS3 analogs rubbers have torn or ripped off while my PS2 analogs are fine after 8 years.
I want Battlefield 3 on this thing.
I'd be happy with that. Maybe Nintendo is starting to learn that the core market is larger and more loyal to gaming than the casuals. Casuals are the short term investment, they're tastes are fickle and can move on from games at any moment. Whereas the core are here for much longer.
Just look at GH
MS is behind this somehow.
I think iron-sights could work for the guns that already allow you to zoom, so instead of pressing the R3 button you press a trigger but for the other guns leave them as is.
Masterchief wouldn't really suffer recoil considering how strong he is, he theoretically should be able to shoot an assault rifle with one hand like a pistol.
I'd love a Halo remake, all the people who don't like it can just play the original, it's available for download.
Gears 3 looks awesome!
It's so great owning 360 and a PS3, Infamous 2 in a few days, Gears 3 in the Fall - sooo many great games to play.
I think they forgot that their games were so good because they had the best villains in gaming. The protagonist's were good too but a great villain can make an RPG (or any story) amazing.
Most games nowadays lack a clear identifiable villain. Look at popular stories though - Starwars, Harry Potter, Batman, LOTR, etc. all have very clear and evil villains.
I'm just waiting to see if reviewers knock it to an 8 because of linearity. Every non-COD FPS get points deducted for being linear or having a short campaign, MW2 had one of the worst and shortest SPs I've played but still got mid to high 9s.
For me it will be interesting to see how reviewers rate it considering all the money Activision will spend on internet ads.
I wish more games had contests like this.
It's the ultimate achievement/trophy.
Hilarious!

Killstreaks are good as long as the MP isn't entirely based around it and it's not right for every game.
Cell phone is the most distracting, even when it's on vibrate I know someones calling.
Wasn't MGS on Xbox and Gamecube last gen?
I though MGS has been multiplat for a while.
Average consumers don't want to grind anymore, why waist your life fighting boring videogame battles to improve stats.
Yeah sure, an exclusive remake of an existing game utilizing the new controller and with all the DLC or something. Like an ultimate edition.
With the amount of money spent making Rockstar games they'd be fools to give a newly launched console and exclusive. And Valve won't make Half-Life 3 for Nintendo exclusive...ever.
I only need one, the sequel to one of my favourite games this gen and potential game of the year - Infamous 2.
