Keep it up buddy. Titanfall isn't that good. Everyone knows it. That's why there are so many Xbox guys on N4G all the time trying to talk the game up.

This is cold, hard retail. You get the best you can get to market as soon as you can. You need to sell the hardware now. Most people, contrary to belief on this site, will only purchase one console. The quicker either MS or Sony can push you to make that decision, the better for them.

Yeah. A lot of my friends still have the 360 and are playing Titanfall on that console instead of the XB1.
My buddy says that he likes Titanfall enough that, when he does get an XB1, he'll buy another copy of it so he can keep playing.

Having said that, I don't disagree with most of what you said. However, I do disagree that Infamous is going to sell well because PS4 needs a AAA game. I could say the same thing about Titanfall and XB1.
Infamous will sell well because it's the first true-next gen title on either console.

Resolution is already about as low as it can go. Effects are nothing special. To get to 60fps? Not happening on XB1 hardware.

It's here to stay until you can fit console hardware into a phone or tablet and take it with you. The desire to play games on a big screen (or VR or stereoscopic etc) will always be there.
No one should be surprised. Better hardware begets better graphics. Not rocket science.

Edit: Shockingly, I see a bigger difference between the two than I thought I would based on those screenshots. The hair in the PS4 version in much more crisp. Further, the last two comparison shots really show the effects of the resolution difference.
