Killzone launch bundle arriving at my front door on 11/15.
Bought a new 27" Asus monitor.
By coincidence I have a two week break before starting a new job on 12/1.
I'll say it again, can someone be my Butters and freeze me for 9 days?
If I could, I'd like to make a few comments here:
Note: I have had my hands briefly on both the PS4 and XB1.
1) I completely disagree with him that KZ isn't a significant leap from current-gen. The game is beautiful and is so smooth that it gave me a slight case of vertigo. The textures and particle effects are unreal (or maybe I mean too real).
2) I have a PS4 arriving day 1 but I will disagree that the DS4 is leaps and bounds ahead ...
I need someone to be my Butters and freeze me for 9 days. BUT DAMMIT DON'T FORGET TO THAW ME OUT!
Which location? Because I just want to see them... and uh, not steal them or anything... and uh, OK WHO WANTS TO BE THE GETAWAY DRIVER???
Ditto, I cancelled my X1 and went PS4 because of, among other things, this title.
Oh wow, that's awesome. Thanks for the link.
PS4 preorder cancelled. If it doesn't bake, I don't want it. /s (in case it wasn't obviously sarcasm)
I'm getting both too but I think this looks better. Just remember, that was MP that you were just watching. SP will be even more impressive.
I think the MP in KZ look as good as SP in BF4. Just my opinion though.
No sh*t. Of course I'm going to be in awe.
Anyone know what the display stats are going to be (resolution, FPS, etc.)?
It's same principle as to why you bellyflop (greater speed of impact means more pain). Cool stuff. Lots of youtube videos on it.
Again, you're talking about an indie developer with limited resources. This isn't ND or GG. You can't expect an indie developer with a tiny budget to output games with the same quality as the games that had multi-million dollar budgets?
Doesn't work that way
It's not about the game being taxing on the hardware.
It's an indie developer that simply doesn't have the budget nor resources to output a game with quality equal to the big-name developers.
His comment about bigger studios having difficulty is because those games are indeed taxing on the hardware (at this point in the generation). Kind of silly to compare his game to BF4.
I think you answered your own question when you said "look at bigger studios..."
This is not GG, this is an indie developer with far fewer resources than the big guys. It has nothing to do with the hardware and everything to do with the game itself and its associated resource budget.
End of article: "Are you ready?"
Me: "Coach, I've been waiting for this my whole life."
@Reverent - you must be new here ;)
@ creatchee - You're right. I didn't mean gameplay. What I meant to say was a trailer created in-engine.
I know it's not the same thing. I just got all excited and started typing without thinking.
I have done the exact same. I also preordered The Order. It looks completely unreal.
Almost had a conniption until I read the part in parentheses.
