I thought this series bit the dust. I still got Ys III on Turbo Graphix-16 CD. This will definately be added to the collection even if it gets a 5 rating.

Man I couldn't agree with you more. I've never had a really enjoyable water level. I was originally concerned that the entire expansion was under water... Thank goodness it's not or I would have to skip this expansion like BC.
Atari 2600 was my first game system. But Sega Master System was my heart. Looking over all the games folks named off I'm saddened that nobody mentioned Kenseiden! Yes my friends that game the best thing on the system imo.
*edit* I also agree with a poster above - TurboGrafx 16 was the most underrated system of all time. First to bring us the CD-Rom. Slow as all hell but had so much data so much more game, cut scenes you just couldn't imagine (at the time ofcourse).
Price difference is never noted nor is the system's overall value. Like some media outlets trying to compare handhelds vs consoles.

Secondly, this article makes it sound as though 6pin and 8pin connection on video cards is unheared of. This 2 gig 4890 card requires 6 and 8 pin power connections.

To clear it up further.
GTX 295 is Nvidia's top offering at this time. This video card is a dual-gpu card. Meaning to GPUs on one PCB. It's direct competition is the "X2" cards from ATi.
The HD5870 is 30% faster and it's a single gpu card. This is a huge jump. Apples to Apples would be HD5870x2 vs GTX385 (or whatever Nvidia will call it).
I think not. Remember way back when, when SE announced it would go to the 360? There were 1 major thing PS3 owners worried about... Graphical downgrade! I do see what your saying as Battle.net is free to join. I'm not sure and my only theory now is that with it's paying WoW users the author didn't seperate the two. It's doesn't cost anything to play Warcraft 3 or Starcraft on there... I'm at a lose trying to figure this poorly written article out.
I'm not covering for Sony in any way when it comes to the prices they charge. But one way to look at it is like when you car needs an oil change. Would you take your car back to say Toyota which charges $50 for parts and $75 per hour labor? Or would you take it to Jiffy Lube were you can get that oil changed for $25? There are many Sony certified repair places, try them first before you get robbed.
I have the original 60gig as well. Mine never moves though. It's babied right under my Sony Bravia XBR. I will purchase one as soon as it's available. Last thing I want to see is my 60gig'er going to the heavens. So the 60 is going to the box as the collector. Now I can beat the hell out of the new one... Hell I might even run Folding@Home now!
