Yeah, that was the first thing I noticed. - fail

There was a time when reviewers would beat the game before a review was written. Some even went as far to give a progression review until it was beat. Those days are gone sadly... If you aren't out the gate with your reviews first, you miss out on your site hits (which equals pay day). We can thank the internet for that.
Wish we could go back to the day when Game Mags were the source for all reviews. Let me hush, I'm starting to s...
What you speak is the truth. I believe the visuals outside of photo mode and premium cars could have been done better. This game did the right thing imo, focused more on gameplay. You can have the most pretty game in the world and it controls like garbage - I'm sure none of us would be rooted very long.
For all that this game does right I'm willing to deal with slightly less than stellar visuals. Once I'm racing I'm not looking anywhere but the track a...
Bought the game 2 nights ago and man this is what I've been waiting for. This is a true car simulation in all ways possible. Coupled with the Logitech Driving Force GT wheel and pedal set, just brings the game alive in so many additional ways.
*side note*
Don't attempt to use the wheel in your lap - I f*cked my balls up. The base will spin out of control w/o a table.
@Chaos 69
Mine required an 8gig install which took less than 5 mins. Do you actually own the game or this something you're quoting from a website?
*correction*
Got this mixed up with the 133mb patch. The 8gig install took 20mins.
Like money is an issue when it comes to Call of Duty. Reserve a comment for games that barely scratch 100k sold.
I don't have you number...
Sure you can but how smooth? Just because you can turn everything on doesn't mean you will have the best experience. See Metro single card fps and a couple others with some close to 60 fps... So having two of these beasts are well worth it as games will only become more demanding.
I'm married! Nuff said.
It may run flawlessly but it damn sure ain't quiet. The slim is quiet. I own the original 60g and the 120g slim. The 120g isn't heard during quiet parts of the movies. The 60g I would hear over some dialoge.
I have no problem with your love for your 60g but just keep it real.
PS3 first came out and the PS3 was ugly, dust prone, finger print prone and just to shiny looking? It was the abomination of consoles... PS3 changes to the matte black and 360 goes piano black and now it's elegant piece of machinery.
Great as it will force them to either update to 3.42 or buy a new PS3..which is win win for Sony lol
BUT kind of sad for those who havent updated since 3.15 (because they didnt want to lose OS)
- For this reason is why I placed my original 60 gig in the box in a closet and bought a Slim. No idea how much the original PS3 with 3.15 OS will be worth in the future.
You got me the first time with 3DO for $600 when I was a teenager... You won't get me twice with some console/portable that has massive potential but you drop like a bomb over Baghdad.
...sad thing was I loved my 3DO and still got it to this day.
I'm very happy to see an honest review done. This is what the industry needs to get back to. Honesty. I love the Castlevanis series but I knew damn well it wasn't a 9.0 average game. None of the Castlevania games were high up there but they were always fun and enjoyable games.
Remember back when 9's and 10's were rare in the videogame world? Yeah, I do to. Didn't stop me from buying them unless they were under 5's. Get back to telling us the g...
Kim kardashian!
I've been gaming since 1984 and I never heard of this hooker until I've seen this poll.
Also, "you must be new to gaming or just a n00b" like someone mentioned above, is just an ill advised comment. Thousands of games on the market and we don't play two and we gotta be wet behind the ears? Bitch please~~
I concur with this review.
This is such a false statement. Piracy is the worst thing that can happen to any system. Here are few reasons:
- Remember Sega Dreamcast? Piracy destroyed that system. All games simply needed to be burned in your standard CD-ROM. Those that didn't work you would buy a boot disk for $3 and bam you were gaming. Where is Sega now? Yeah. Sadly I was guilty of this when i was young and dumb thinking nothing could every happen to the Superpower know as Sega.

The game play on the PS3 wasn't too bad. But graphically it had some terrible visuals. I don't know if other versions were the same (including PC) but my goodness, I couldn't finish the game. The game looked as if it should be on PS2. My wife that knows next to nothing about video games asked me if I was playing one of my old games...
All those reviews about this game having "awesome" graphics lied.
Still a good game...just u...
Can any other owners confirm the following:
I was in a big rush to play the game and didn't bother installing at first. When the game is loading some of the tracks there was a longer load screen the FIRST TIME. But doing that track again it went several seconds faster.
So the question is - without the initial install is the game install the game on the fly vs doing 8gig install at the beginning?
After I finally decided to do the...
