put a 720p 32in TV next to a 1080p TV in and good luck at telling the difference between the two. It really becomes noticeable around the 40" inch mark. A TV and a computer monitor just isn't the same.
When I say this I'm not talking about hooking up a computer to a TV because you can definitely tell the difference. I'm talking about blu-ray or TV programs.
Because 1080p on a TV that size is virtually pointless.
When you watch a movie that pans out over a vast area on a 60hz screen you can see the picture skip ever so slightly. On a 120hz TV that skip is virtually removed. From my stand point 120hz is all you need. 240hz...is an over kill. But you better believe I want one.
October 14th...Matrix Triology and Casino.
Casino is of my top 3 of all times. But hey...check out the release list for the next couple months and see what ya'll think.

Edit... American Gangster on the 14th as well...
Ol'Jacky there needs some biscuits and gravy to put an ass on those sticks.
Lovely $8000 PC with last gen video cards. I wouldn't expect anything less from Acer. Great job guys!
I can tell you what gamers want... LOWER PRICES! Screw the 160gig...make the price of the system $350 heck make it $300. I know the 160 HDD are crazy cheap now but still...lower the overall price of the system and stop with the buy me gimmicks.
Honestly the only system that should be $499 is the MGS version with backwards compatibility. But that is just my opinion.
Chuck Norris doesn't walk on water, he swims through land.
...sorry but how do you know Blu-ray is so cool without a HDTV? If your watching it at 480i, your getting next to zero of the Blu-ray performance and might as well be watching DVDs.
I thought this article was going to state the obvious but it failed to do so. It has absolutely nothing to do with the Xbox 360. It has everything to do with MS charging per disk.
So what is the solution...stop charging companies per disk and problem is solved.
I may not own a 360... I will honestly say I'm envious of this game. In a generation were games are more focused on graphics vs content, this is a plus. I will not speak on the quality of this game because I haven't the slightest clue. However, I do wish other studios start focusing on gaming length. I'm tired of beating $60 games in a weekend.
Also note 80 hours of repetitiveness isn't a good thing either. But a good quality 80 hrs of make you want to play is where it'...
I think th reason we don't see these anymore is because this generation of games are so damn easy to beat. Remember back in the days you could buy a game that would take your weeks to beat (if you could) vs hours? Games are just so damn simple now it is almost no need...
What you don't realize is, Bruce utilized the Game Genie.
No this chip isn't going against the Larrabee. This is something totally different.
Larrabee is a stand alone GPU that will fight against ATi and Nvidia's GPUs.
Fusion is half CPU and half GPU in one socket. What this is suppose to do is decrease the latency (time) it takes to get the information from the CPU to GPU. This is definitely no Crysis running combination. It is more a motherboard graphics moved to the CPU.
Ideal for businesses not ...
They have a 6 month to 1 year cycle on video cards. There are 3 levels in which they provide cards for based off the same chip. That chip is stripped down as it gets cheaper. So don't think they are releasing so many different cards when they aren't.
The 3 levels are 1. Entry level $150 and below 2. Mainstream $150 - $299 3. Enthusiast $300+
ATi starts with the entry level and work it's way up.
Nvidia starts with extreme and work its way down.
Ofcourse Nvidia would deny it. They have been denying it for months. But at the same time they are forking up millions of dollars to cover repair costs. I can say it's pretty much like MS' RROD situation. But this is on a much larger scale. ...well then again maybe it ain't. 19 million 360's sold...
You should read the article. There is a major bug in their latest...everything. It ranges from the chipset to the graphics cards. It's crazy. Nvidia's chipsets won't be going anywhere anytime soon. After Nvidia figures out the problem and redesigns the next chip everyone will be happy. This cycle though...they are lost and ATi is getting all the business this cycle.
Nvidia is too big of a player to be permanently screwed. They'll be back and they will kick ass once aga...
Nvidia mobos/graphics cards in desktop and laptop are having serious problems. They are being replaced with other major company cards/chips. Take a few minutes to do the research. Think of it as almost a RROD situation for Nvidia.
