He said super highend PCs... It's nothing to drop $4500 on.
Top end CPU $1000
Top end Mobo $700
Top end Graphic Cards x 2 $2000
I'll stop there so you can understand what super high end is. Not your typical $1500 subpar gaming rig.
Mine cost $2500 for high end 3 yrs ago and today it's just slightly above average.
I don't care if its online or off...
They won't sucker me twice!!!!
I had to stop half way through. I can't see anymore. This game is going to be A-mazing!
Seriously wtf are those? Orge ears?
"Volta GPUs will have access to up to 1TB per second of bandwidth by stacking the DRAM on top of the GPU itself"
That is the ram speed. No way in hell the GPU will give 1:1 processing of all that bandwith.
Will it be more than the 180GB/s? Definitely.
Remember the PS4 is getting a midrange GPU and what we are comparing it to is top of the line years down the road.
Fair comparison? Not even, especially at the...
Instead, Tamasi said that Nvidia, with only so many engineers and so much capability, will be able to focus on another portion of its business that it wouldn't be able to if it did chips for Sony.
Nvidia's projects include delivering high-end graphics cards like the GeForce GTX Titan and supplying Apple computers with GPUs.
It's also looking to capture mobile processing with its Tegra 4i system on a chip for smartphones and tablets, and by releasing its own handhel...
TBH, who gives a damn? That game sucks and won't survive on a console...
No Atari Jaguar but have the Wii U on there?! My guess is he need a shock and awe system in there.
Purchased!
Sounds great and I would love a super machine... But the game makers will not make games that take advantage of the superior system. The developers will make a games based on the lowest common denominator.
*Wii/U not included in these conversations.

Nothing in this article was out of the ordinary. Devs know exactly what they are getting into when it comes to this system because everything he stated is basic hardware terminology. It's still slow with speed 3 times the Wii...
With that said - I'm still buying one. The Wii U is what I wanted the Wii to be.
While Last of Us is amazing, I think Beyond will slightly edge it out graphically. My personal feeling Last of Us will be more enjoyable to actually play.
@Vulcanproject - Remember they said 1080p wasn't required for anything under 40". Cellphones now have 1080p screens. You can tell the difference and don't let those naysayers tell you otherwise.
If they don't call anything but certain doom at launch how does a website get hits? I blame the media!
Non-heroic instances took no skill. But heroic instances, you had to know exactly what you were doing or you were wasting everyone's time. Raiding is/was very techincal and depending on the encounter determined how boring it actually was. And there were some really boring instances.
You got a point there once you injected lunch money into the conversation.
Sure but a OC 680 = what then?
Good luck with your user base Gabe!

How do you know this? Nothing has been announced for Xbox. While the hardware is made by the same company, doesn't mean they interact the same. Which we already know they don't. Secondly, the OS are totally different. Easy of portability is unknown at this time.
