Scorpio has +4 more GB of faster GDDR5, A much better CPU and Much Better GPU... Im sure it will run at 4k and 60 most likely... The Battlefield 1 Beta (which currently is the most taxing Frostbite game) ran 4k @ 50-60 on comparable GPU's. Not promising it will... but it's definitely more than a possibility at this point
And because 12gb of 320+gb/sec GDDR5 vs Pro's 8gb of 270ish gb/sec RAM, Pro still uses the weak Jaguar 8 core CPU that EVERY dev has said is the underpowered part of this console gen if anything and it has only been slightly over clocked, probably 2+ghz per core vs PS4 1.6 and X1 1.75ghz. Scorpio uses an 8 core "Zen" CPU which you cant even buy yet. And then the obvious 6tflop Polaris GPU vs the 4.2tflop GPu in the Pro that uses "Some" Polaris features.

A game that looks as good as Horizon AND open world will not be 4k with A: 8gb RAM, B: a slightly overclocked CPU since open world games are very CPU heavy. I know Playstation uses GPGPU to render CPU side task on the GPU but say you cut out your "CPU Extensive task" for the game using what CPU you have and the rest being rendered by GPGPU, you still are taking power from the GPU so you no longer have 4.2tflops for GPU power.

Now 4k up-scaled will look better than 1080p on a 1080p screen since you have 4-1 the amount of pixels so it will smooth out the frame sort of like AA to an extent, but nothing more...

IT'S NOT NATIVE 4K! It's 1080p up-scaled to 4k... same thing the Xbox One S does... just double GPU power and a slightly over clocked 8 core jaguar.

It's definitely glitchy at times and there are things that need tweaking and nerfs and buffs but man... Im so addicted to this Beta, it's so fun and even though it's only one map, I love the dynamic weather! I hope they add St. Quentin Scar map for the Beta since I really want to play that map along with a lot of other people
YES! I am a BF veteran man, been playing since Battlefield 2. I have over 500 hours in Bad Company 2, BF3, and BF4. Over 200 hours in 1943 and Bad Company. This is no doubt a true BF game, I think it's mostly the Battlefront players who have never really played a BF game are the ones who are saying it feels too much like Battlefront when in reality, Battlefront feels like Battlefield lol just more floaty. BF1 feels "Easier" than BF4 and BF3 but not as easy as say Bad Company 2. ...
The Demo is about 1/4 of the map so that's why its a big DL lol
