In short... No. Xbox One Exclusives are Windows games now, so every "Exclusive" is being developed for PC too so the devs can push the boundaries easier than a Playstation Exclusive, they know PC gamers expect it as should Scorpio adopters. Even if it's the same "Graphical Settings" on X1 @ say 1080p-30fps, it should run 4k/1440p-30/60 on Scorpio.

Parity won't be as much of an issue since PC is in the picture now for Exclusives.

BF3 and BF4 were waaaayyyyyy more similar than Battlefront and BF1 lol. Us veterans know this is not entirely true, I have 450 hours in BC:2, 386 hours in BF3 and over 500 hours in BF4. If anything, BF1 actually reminds me of BC:2 some what, easier to pick up than BF3 and BF4 which is a good thing as the learning curve on 4 was pretty steep imo.

I mean... The power gap of the GPU alone compared to the PS4 Pro is more than the total power of the PS4. It has 12gb GDDR5 @ 320+gb/sec which is +4 more gb of memory compared to PS4 Pro and the bandwidth is over 100gb/sec faster than PS4 Pro Memory, we are just waiting on the CPU and Storage specs to fully compare the 2, but so far the Scorpio looks to be a 4k capable machine just going by the Memory and GPU alone. Hopefully we here some full specs or at least CPU specs soon.

We need to understand that Sony was trying to do something totally different than MS. Sony has a good foot in the door for anyone who wants to game at a guaranteed 1080p with good visuals and a solid framerate AND for people who want to play already existing titles at 4k 30fps. It's awesome they have options for the consumer so they can decide what level of performance the player can enjoy their game at.

MS is trying to deliver native 4k gaming with a beefier all around...

And there it is... RAM and CPU bottlenecks galore! Still don't know why Sony used the same Jaguar CPU with a slight overclock and the same amount of RAM with a slight overclock? 2 of the same GPU's (SLI) out of the PS4, etc. Even the look of the system, the whole thing just screams lazy overall, maybe it's because of the fact I know about Scorpio and even though I know Sony was not trying to deliver the same type of hardware, myself and many others see it as a "4k" conso...

The BEST DLC Ubisoft ever released!

The RAM difference alone screams 4k... GPU is not everything, most Console exclusive owners don't realize everything that goes into making games run the best with the hardware presented. CPU and RAM is a huge bottleneck for frame rate and 4k textures on the pro... The NEW CPU and Higher Bandwidth/More RAM will allow for this to become a reality, with PS4 pro running some games at native 4k and 30fps we should see Scorpio achieve the same graphical fidelity while running a native 4k frame ...

Scorpio has some serious power advantages compared to PS4 Pro... 12gb 320+gb/sec GDDR5 compared to 8gb 208gb/sec GDDR5, 6TFLOP GPU compared to a 4.2TFLOP GPU and most likely an 8 core ZEN CPU compared to a slightly over clocked PS4/X1 Jaguar CPU. I would bet it would be $450 or $500, no more and no less.

Battlefield 1... Because Frostbite

Duh lol. It's a good deal for the price! So is the X1S and PS4S. Here is hopes that the Scorpio will be no more than $500 next year when it launches, hopefully when we find out the exact CPU, GPU specs and storage size we can guess better at the cost for consumers.

Yes! And after playing BF1, I really want to play BC:2 but I know EA wouldn't allow it so soon, if they bring that game back with open servers I would be in heaven lol

Hmmmm So 6tflop GPU, 320+gb/sec 12GB GDDR5 and most likely a 8 Core ZEN CPU that will be noticeably beefier than the XB1/PS4/PS4pro Jaguar CPU and who knows what else as far as storage, etc. I mean I think it will be in the $400-$500 ball park which for what it is, is fair!

HUSH, I mean, it probably would, but not by much, why would Xbox 1S have a 4k Blu Ray drive and sell for $299? Im just saying, it would have been cheaper for Sony to incorporate one than MS since it's THEIR hardware...

If it's an Easter Egg... it'll be a few months before anyone actually figures it out knowing DICE lol

That's funny! I love Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim... But the Witcher 3's world is anything but static! I like leveling up better in Skyrim, but EVERYTHING else is better in The Witcher 3 imo.

Pssshhhh this game should never be under an 8/10! I don't care what your opinion is!

3416d ago 7 agree5 disagreeView comment

Yep, same thing happened for X1S, the upgraded CPU kept some games at a solid 30fps.

Soldiers need to realize there are a BUNCH of non-battlefield veterans who are joining us in this fight, it will take time before they learn the values and prowess of their class and when they do, they will help aid in the victorious battle that is the war to end all wars! ;) but for real, they will catch on!

It's running on the Fallout 4 iteration of the engine, revisions that Fallout 4 already have built in (lighting, Atmospheric filtering, Shadows, Draw distance improvements, etc.) and that game runs at 1080p 30fps as well... so what is your point?
