Is Need For Speed even relevant? How can anyone add NFS to a racing game list without noting The Crew?
Need For Speed has been off my radar after NFS2.
Don't get me wrong, they had some hits and misses since then, but overall its been all stale, try too hard, underperforming titles.
If you like Need For Speed, but hate Forza or Gran Turismo, you are dead to me.
Single player = I can play this game all by myself, or with 1~7 people in the room with me, while in a cave 5 miles deep, or on another planet, 100 years from now, and still enjoy myself thoroughly.

They won't backtrack. If they do, it will be on very minor things, or just revise the implementation to make it seem less anti-consumer.
The 24 hour checks are likely to stay, but I see no reason they couldn't just make it a check every 72 hours. Even if you could beat a game in that time period, it would still make the online(if any) impossible to play, as the DRM checks will be waiting for you to sign in.

I think the first ones to rebel will most likely be the ones that get banned by accident/no good reason, and learn all the games they purchased are gone. Forcing consumers to repurchase the games/licences they already payed for.

I commend you for choosing the console best for you, but I would strongly suggest not using Gamestop if at all possible, as they are the main reason Microsoft is attempting such DRM tactics.
Gamestop pays 5$-7$ for a game I bought less than 10 days ago, and turns around and sells it to some shmo for 55$...

To answer the question once and for all, the TV is not the issue here, nor is it upscaling, as I fully test functionality every time I get an exchange system back. See, every time I have this issue, a friend of mine will come down later that week to let me use his PS3.
This is why I know there is no issue with my TV in general, as everything plays perfectly on his 60GB console, and every setting is set exactly as I set his up on my own.
