Microsoft didn't try to do anything like G-Sync, this article is just for hits.
Article is talking about dynamic scaling as if it helps input lag, It doesn't.
Changing Screen resolution(Dynamic Scaling = back and forth from 720p, 900p, 1080p and possibly lower res) on the fly doesn't fix screen tearing, as well as TV and peripheral lag.
This just helps the games image from stuttering from frame rate drops.
Technically, the main benefit Microsofts ...

Guy is an idiot for starting this rumor over one insiders remarks, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is true.

I don't think 720p is a bad thing, but it comes off as lazy on developers if CoD Ghost, a game that looks rather unimpressive visually, can't make 1080p on Xbox, but can on PS4...
It also leads to the question of the consoles power again and again when this kind of thing comes up.
I hope developers take advantage of both consoles, fully uti...

G-Sync requires both display, and input(PC/games console) have the proper hardware to utilise the feature set.
If Xbox One had G-Sync on board, it would still need the TV/Monitor to utilise it.
Being that Xbox One DOES NOT have G-Sync on board, the likelihood of similar performance gains to G-Sync seem unlikely on traditional HDTV sets, and monitors alike.

Robby, you clearly have never used cross game chat. It's main usage is linking your friends from your friends list so you only hear and talk to them, and hear nothing else. It is extremely useful while loading up with a few friends while waiting for the rest to boot up. You are only ever interrupted if you have your party chat open for anyone to join, which even if you do, it's really your friends that are being pricks just joining the party if they arnt playing the game you and your ...

If for some reason they use the same methods of AA and buffering they used for the beta for both systems, it will be PS3 staying on top.
Unlikely as that is, the beta's are used more for finding client/host/server instability these days more than showcasing what a great game they have developed.

I stand corrected.
More than a third of the 8GBs of DDR5 memory is used by the operating system.
The remaining 5GBs of memory are used entirely for games.

(almost)Half the memory on PS4, being 3.5GBs is used by the operating system, the remaining 4.5GBs of DDR5 are completely used for gaming tasks.
So, as we already know, the PS4 has 8GBs of DDR5, therefor half of 8 would be 4... Do I need to make this any clearer? This is old news about the OS Being rather heavy on the memory.

Theoretically, this shows the lowest amount of computations per second.
These numbers are assuming 4GB's of unified memory. Although the bandwidth doesn't always increase with more memory, in this case, DDR5 can scale... and if you cut your comput times on cores in half, you can indeed add more ram and get better data transfer.
But for now, almost half of the memory is being used for background systems, so in essence this info means very little to us gamers.
A...
