I'm all for the future, but you do realize halo 5 will have no help or development from Bungie?
Halo 4 had partial help from Bungie, but I wasn't thrilled with its outcome.
I am fairly pessimistic about the people working on projects that are not their own, look at what became of spyro the dragon...

What SHOULD have happened here is OP should have made a list of all genres of games, and let people poll from the list.

Have fun remembering how good/horrible you were at that one game XX years ago.

Looks fantastic. I only fear it won't garner the same following that littlebigplanet has because of its technical nature, and less cuteness for marketing.

I understand this is free, and LBP is pay, but you still need to sell the idea past the initial wow factor.

@malokevi
There are extremely talented individuals out there working on brilliant ways of getting around bottlenecks, and latencies. The problem lies in corporate interests.
We are force fed data limits by companies like Time Warner, or Cox at fixed rates across all companies. They basically agree to not be competitive with prices. This leads to a saturated market that everyone has the same model, with no real benefits, or reason for the caped data speeds.
The nation, ...

Is everyone neglecting to talk about latencies on purpose?
Lets say you do offload, say 10% of CPU burden, we will call it non-essential physics, the best internet connection is usually around 55ms. thats 55 milliseconds one way, at ideal internet latencies. At 180 milliseconds, lag/latency becomes noticeable to people with fast reflex's, or professional gamers. Now, the average latency in the USofA is about 155ms for the west coast, and 200ms roughly for the east coast(stats show...

My exact response to everything EA says they are doing "for the consumer".

I want it, mainly because I've said to my self on many occasions "man, I wish I could play this on my TV" while playing a PSP or PS Vita title.

I did some research to see if Double Helix ever made a good game. Turns out they did, as Shiny Entertainment.

Before merging to become Double Helix, the company was 2, The Collective, and Shiny Entertainment.
Shiny E. are the people that brought us Earthworm Jim back in 1995. They are also the company that brought us Wild 9(2000), and Sacrifice(2000).
As for The Collective, its all down hill, as they are almost entirely movie-to-game makers.

It doesn't matter what system you're getting this gen, just don't try to defend it when you get screwed out of something promised.
We are consumers, and defending a bad product, or business model only hurts us, the consumers.

I think of exclusives as forcing evolution in gaming.
This doesn't always take place, as copying happens more often than not.
But even when copy catting, you still get innovation over time.
Gaming has come a long way since the days of pong.
