I agree, it's like some ppl cannot muster an original thought between them. All the n4s and hypocrisy comments are sooo trite by now.
So, if graphics and politics don't matter, what is your little rant? Some kind of seizure gabbing by the sound of it. And an Ouya? That's like finishing your dating video with "p.s And ihave an herpes too." Congratulations
Way to miss the point there son.
Kevin Dent... you'd be better off flipping a coin to find the truth.
Thanks for the humility. But why reference people's 'hollow lives' in the first place. It wasn't you jumping to a conclusion, but choosing to flippantly insult everyone that was the issue...
Thanks for that Opinions4tardz.
Congratulations
I'm Aquaman... no... nobody... I hate myself
If people like this had their way, all movies would still be slapstick silent-features. In order for gaming to evolve, we've got to take risks. This risk has paid off in spades (for myself at least) and has enough interaction to immerse me fully in QDs world.
I like the way you think stranger.
Ooh, how original! Change the frigging record. We know the nature of the service and pedantry just ain't my thing, so go split some hairs elsewhere.
Simple, they are just comparing it to a common popular game type, one with broad appeal. It's just an analogue for 'this game is unlike most things you've played recently', not some sort of attack on shooters. So, you know, just an expression.
I think everyone knows that by now. I mean, the 'personal opinion' mantra has been chucked about for forever now. Not that it's wrong, it's just so bloody obvious that anyone who doesn't get it by now won't ever. For what it's worth though reviews can be right or wrong to each individual, that's why they are in the public domain. For me, this review is 'wrong' because I loved B2S. But I respect it nonetheless.
So you feel qualified to devalue certain works of literature based on your own preference? A pulp is of no less intrinsic value that a classic, to the individual. By all means, dissect and discuss whatever works of literature you like, but a little humility wouldn't kill you.
Old meme is old
It is :)
You're what now?
I think so long as the specs are enough to emulate (with some fidelity) the experience on rival machines, that's enough. That's where specs matter, when you're unable to forget them. When you can become engrossed enough in a game environment that you aren't picking holes over graphics, AI etc. Then the specs become an irrelevance.
If we don't express our displeasure with a product, we cannot expect devs/pubs to guess what we might want from a future iteration. However, being a dick about it is counter-productive; forcing developers to play it safe rather than risk gamers ire by testing new ideas and concepts. This process runs a lot smoother when gamers and devs work together.
Maybe they ruin it for you, but some of us actually appreciate a passionate fandom. It may be inappropriate or crass at times, but at least people give a sh*t enough to act that way. I don't think it's particular to Sony fanboys, I just think we're more vocal at the moment after years of putting up with xbot attacks.
