Then stop reading the comments sections of gaming news aggregates and go play some games maestro; nobody's stopping you.
@nukeitall I think it's quite clear that is not what he was implying. PC has the horsepower and architectural oomph to be a jack-of-all-trades, whereas xbox one seems more of a one armed juggler at this juncture. Chuck too much at it and stuff's gonna get dropped...
@HolyDuck I get your point. But the analogy was obviously not meant to be 'to scale'. Just an indicator of how hobsons choice is no choice at all. I do sort of agree with your overarching point, but that doesn't make me any more comfortable with its implications.
Yes, and if I don't like the quality of my oxygen supply I don't HAVE to breathe. Just because we have a choice, doesn't mean that that choice is reasonable or justified.
They don't want specs. Just the best console for the price-point. Although I don't expect you to acknowledge that as your post is deliberately adversarial. The quality of Sony's line up obviously appeals to its fans, myself included. No amount of condescending snickering from the likes of you will change that.
I know what you mean, but that sounded all kinds of wrong lol.
I don't think anyone was ever questioning whether the xbox one is capable of producing native 1080, just hoping that it's not achieved by sacrificing in other departments. For example, quantic dream have achieved some great things graphically this gen, but a more open-ended gameplay experience would render their graphical style untenable.
Don't waste your breath. Those who would make such comments probably think hyperbole is a European sports event.
Albert: "we aren't privy to third-party developments"
IW: "but Al, we've told you countless times that xbone Cod is lo.."
Albert: (puts fingers in ears) WE ARE NOT PRIVY TO THIRD PARTY DEVELOPMENTS TIMES INFINITY NO RETURNS
IW: "Man, what a douche. And that's ironic cos, you know, Infinity Ward."
Yes, it really would have
@GutZ31 agreed, it was either this or a commode. Greatness, and a huge circular ass-crease, await.
I for one am glad I picked up my Vita. Am totally content with its native software lineup, so the remote play function will be just one more reason to keep it by my side. Also, the directors cut of Deus Ex:HR makes an interesting case for its use in off-screen gaming, which has proved very immersive thus far.
Are you able to herp AND derp simultaneously, or do you have to do one at a time?
Get some landmines. Just to jazz up that candy pile.
If you're not bothered, then what on earth are you doing taking the time to comment on an article like this? Honest question. And as for ur shame at being a gamer right now, it's never been any different. I vividly recall ST and Amiga users tearing each other's hardware advantages to shreds, it's part of the DNA of this industry.
Maybe the complex next-gen boulder-positioning compensation algorithm is cloud-based. Cough.
Some of us can have a love life AND a hobby. The whole "get a girlfriend DEERRRRP" Argument makes Jesus cry. And makes you look like a tard.
@falviousuk I don't think anyone is under the illusion that Sony are a bunch of philanthropists, it's pretty obvious that profitability and the shareholders are the priority. It's just that Sony seems content to deliver in this FY by appeasing the fanbase first, happy gamers=loyalty=revenue stream=win. Whatever their motivation, it suits Sony fans down to the ground.
@nocando all good :)
@P0werVR hmmm, let me try to articulate this...: MORE CHOICE GOOD, LESS CHOICE BAD. Ease of use with Kinect? I call bull. The console functions without it, it should come without it. Not every bike comes with stabilisers, not every rubics cube comes with adult nappies in case you forget to poop. I don't need MS to tell me what to buy and neither should you.
