@-Foxtrot like it, but to fit the meme its gotta be "Yo Dawg, I heard you like games? So I put a game in your game so you can game while you game. In 1080p."
True. Maybe the banhammer can be spun as an exclusive pre-order bonus...
Understand your point, but the industry won't implode without one of the big three. I know that's the common belief, but I remember someone in my local VGZ telling me that if Sega bailed, there would be no Playstation. The industry is far more complex and capable of plugging the gap than we give it credit for.
Totally agree. On getting value out of the game AND next gen syndrome lol
Nice generalisation there. You know, maybe it is shameful how some fans act, but I think there's probably similar numbers of douches on both platforms.
OT: graphics matter to a point and that point is subjective. As I'm self-employed, I don't know when my cashflow will allow for expensive upgrades. Consoles offer good performance for a predictable cost, including any online fees. So for someone like myself, the best performance I can get for a console price is...
They should have worked harder and made frame-stuttering a timed-exclusive.
I remembered seeing trash-talking from the X-Boners but couldn't be bothered to look it up. Thanks for the handy reminder that those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones at chickens unless they've hatched, etc.
Two people disagreed. So they obviouly know better than you how much time you've spent playing the game. LOGIC!
And midgets have no problem with low ceilings. Your point?
It's a driving game. Which means it's only a stones throw from being on-rails. On rails games use less resources for pretty much everything, so of course they can pump that extra horsepower into 1080/60. Not saying x1 won't be able to achieve this res/ref on other genres, just that driving games are a shonky example at best.
@Mohlest #arrogant #sabotagesownpoint. Oh, and early reports are just that. For you OR sony fans (such as myself) to declare victory is precluding the likelihood pf day-one patching to resolve any teething issues. So neither of us has the right to be arrogant. The Xone res issues point to a blanket issue with architectural bottlenecks. The PS4 issues on this ONE game are concerning too, but nowhere near as conclusive. #uselessbandwagonhashtagging
I agree with your points, but not your generalising about Sony and xbox fans. I am a Sony fan and I, like the VAST majority, want the WiiU to succeed for the good of our industry. By all means decry the zealots, but please don't tar us all with the same brush.
@Kingthrash360 I would be inclined to say yes, but your comments generally make more sense. Maybe it's a clone, but some of the genetic code got 'lost'
I actually consider Lukas's comments pretty well informed, so I really don't get your beef. And no need to get personal, what he chooses to comment on is his own bloody business.
But it DOES make people less likely to respond. It's bad form to argue the point unless you've read through the whole thing and, seriously, I tried. I really did. But by about 1/2 way through I felt like I was having a stroke. So c'est la vie. You win this time wall-o'-text...
Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall.
Fair play @Dehnus. I understand that the console wars are getting under your skin. I was being genuine when I advised that you stay away from places like this. If you have a distaste for the status quo, this ain't the place to be.
I was, indeed, an Amiga fanboy in my youth. Errors are never fun, but the Guru Med was something characterful and unique. That's what I appreciate :) anyway, peace to you and I wish you all the best avoiding this scorched-earth gene...
Generations 2/3 were a warzone once kids realised other people had no colour clash/hardware sprite support and/or SID chips. I get a dead arm just thinking about it. The truth was, kids were just spouting propaganda from the vg magazines without much understanding. Without the internet (unless you had rich prestel parents) it was a sloppy word-of-mouth war. I always figured more information would breed more understanding, but as the generations have passed, the war has stayed just as brutal...
Only because Sony isn't touting it as the be-all end-but an exciting future feature. I think with all the cloud talk from MS, people were a bit wary, it seemed like it was there to placate and get one up on the competition. No-one should start a 'cloud measuring contest'.
So, don't comment on it and go enjoy your life, genius ;)
