They didn't everywhere, but they did in Game, which is always a hotspot for XBox sales.
Well, you did a good job. It's difficult to recieve such poor service and remain objective, but you did. As for this attitude from MS, I've experienced it before unfortunately, as a retailer trying to arrange a warranty repair. I am under no illusion that this behaviour is exclusive to the Big Green, but they do have a proven track record of closing ranks and developing an 'us and them' attitude when they feel insecure about their service. Anyway, a great read; and as a mu...
Xbox and PS4 going for the title and someone runs along the pitch flashing their WiiU... Ouya's on the bench because of its asthma.
Don't tempt it. If you say Ouya three times, it might appear :/
Don't worry, they're introducing Chemo Premium soon.
So THAT'S Area Man's secret identity... who knew?!?
Always good to hear. But knowing EA, they probably tried to pass CR off with a giant Olmec head first ;)
@wtopez it's just the food chain in action. PC gamers rag on PS4 owners, PS4 owners rip on the XBox owners, the XBoxers attack the WiiU owners, the WiiU owners victimise the Ouya users and the Ouya users are like plankton, they just kinda sit there and silently float about, blissfully unaware. It's the circle etc etc... The truth is, they are all great consoles with good games. Except Ouya, I mean thats just plankton, right?
When Michael Pachter says it doesn't
So, you've created a troll account because you're afraid to voice your opinion using your main account? Man up a little and post as yourself. Either that or post neutral for a while, make your comment history a little less obvious.
I'm a PS4 fanboy and wouldn't say that at all. In fact, I'm overjoyed that developers are getting to grips with XBO. I think the PS4 is the better system, that's why I own one, but with careful optimisation the One will give PS4 a run for its money. We need the competition to keep pushing back, to keep us moving forward.
How very mature of you.
Agreed, it's 4thePayers. I'll get my coat.
Give it a few months and they'll sign up a politician to espouse the virtues of a low silicon footprint via re-use of game assets...
@icicletrepan your comment was disgusting. Thankyou for assisting me in losing my remaining faith in humanity. Oh, and before you throw homosexuality around as an insult, remember that we are people too, you child.
Not sad at all. Many people have been calling around asking after one console and been told that stocks are dry, but the other is available. So the information gleaned is, in most instances, arrived at passively.
It does seem an odd practice, but my store had separate lines too (uk) and although we have yet to sell the initial stock drop of xones in our region, both consoles are getting a lot of interest.
@MrCrimson "Down-vote this if you hate fact", seriously, are you that insecure in your own opinions?
Expansion packs =/= micro transactions in any way shape or form. Expansion packs added to an already complete game, MTs are a more recent phenomena.
Oh and micro-transactions in a f2p game aren't an issue, take them or leave them. In a $60 game? Defend that all you like, I hear the Stockholm syndrome's nice this time of year ;)
I think you've entirely missed the point. USA sales mean nothing on their own for either company, America is not the world. PS4 isn't just banking on the states, it is giving the competition a sound thrashing the world over... so in this case, sales do matter. As for launch reviews, they matter much less than sales. More sales=more dev engagement=great games to come. Poor launch titles just mean a mediocre start, little else.
Because you couldn't successfully beat a donkey's dead grandmother? Allcaps dont exist IRL, so I'm afraid you'd be a tad out of your depth.
