*bites down on a pocky*
interesting...
hmmmm....*checks Amazon*
As of this post, the PS3 is now 5th place and one other peripheral from PlayStation are in the top 10 as well. This is why Amazon reports are , informative, but not reliable. Why? Because they always change on an hourly basis. That means that this very article has lost its credibility after just 60 minutes.
Looks like the PS3 is doomed again...
run for the hillz!!
Whatever helps you sleep at night. Prolouge is a demo from 2007, btw.
the Nintendo DS platform is certainly a beast. The Game Boy line would be proud.
Why do I get the feeling that these journalists actually visit N4G regularly for their next headline.
That moment for me was during E3...
That last Guardian trailer was simply breathtaking.
I don't even have a ticker on my 3.01 PS3, so what is this ticker I keep hearing about?
Good list for both consoles. Some of these boxarts in this article are really good, that I sometimes wonder if they are real.
I personally, would have Trico on the left side of the article's avatar.
just a thought.
I never pay $60 for a game unless its a game I really want on day 1. Other than that, I buy my games used for about half that.
how did we jump from 3.01 to 3.10?
I like this guy's style. Kinda reminds me of myself, to be honest.
He's one of those Designers I hope to aspire to.
I've said it before and I'll say it again:
It's gonna be an interesting 3 months, guys. You can quote me on that.
This was a very good read of the timeline of innovation from the video game controller. It even added innovations like "ergonomics" and "wireless controllers" that a similar article sorta missed out on.
that's true. Nintendo and Sony sure know how to make those D-pads. The 360 has the better triggers though, in my opinion.
The PS3 isn't doing bad at all in Japan, its just as the article puts it: the sales are just more stable now. The Nintendo DSi outsold the PS3 by only 15,000 units which makes sense, as The DS is a very popular handheld in Japan, and we all know how popular Pokemon still are so yeah...Software drives Hardware.
I expect more sales spikes this Holiday in Japan with the release of Final Fantasy XIII. That should be enough to give a shot in the arm in sales. Other than that, sales ar...
I wouldn't hold your breath..
Talking about taking his words out of context for hits:
" we are going to see the same sort of revolution of going from 2D games to 3D games with the move to Natal ".
In other words, Kojima-san is simply indicating a trend towards motion-controls, in a similar pattern as the move to 3D, as Microsoft is one of the firs to step up to the plate to fully embrace the concept.
This is what happens when you just read the headline and not the article; ...
Awesome game. A day one purchase for me.
