3.1- lol, I remember that ^_^
The PlayStation 3 truly has come a long way...
Kudos to Jack for being the right man at the right time.
I'm currently playing Tools of Destruction. I'll be going for this after Quest for Booty.
I think its safe to say that the industry, as a whole, is back in full swing.

From the words of a Gamestop Mascot:
Holy S***!!
You can't blame them. Its hard to clear out the old PS3's when there is a shiny new Slim model thats only $299.
I like my PS3 and Wii no matter what place they're in. ^_^
I've always played games becasue they are just so fun to play. Achievements/Trophies are just icing on the cake for me. Sure, the incentive is nice, but Gameplay has always been a bigger driver for me.
That's how the 90's were for gaming ^_^
Multi-Platform games tend to look identical on normal development cycles. It is the exclusive games that show off the horsepower of the respected console.
Your are indeed correct that VG chart figures aren't that accurate, but they are quite close enough to get a picture of how well a product is selling. Its not meant to be taken to heart at all.
On the contrary, the same could also be said to 360 owners when a exclusive on their console has great figures via VG Chartz.
I'm pretty surprised, as sequels usually don't sell as many hardware units as the first game in a console generation, due to the "entry point" factor. Uncharted 2 is proving to be a rare case in a sequel becoming a system seller.
Patcher still hasn't given me that firmware patch. That's why his predictions are failing.
couldn't resist. ^_^

yeah, I'm sensing the same here as well. It's like Sony's way of saying to the consumers "humor me".
Kameo would've been a great franchise to recieve a sequel on Xbox 360. I was quite sure one was gonna come up sometime in one or two years. Its a great lost.
There are simply too many good games on PSN. My 40GB hard drive will retire soon.
These figures are to be expected. Sony did a good job in actually marketing their game(banners everywhere at IGN from time to time).
This is the type of exposure Sony needs to do to their games, and the results speak for themselves.
*flips a coin*
