Maybe its because Soccer games just don't appeal much to the American audience, which is the main user base of the 360. If it were a football game, the sales would be more even, but Soccer is a much more popular sport overseas, which is the PS3's main strength at the moment.

As a new fan of the Ratchet and Clank series, I give much kudos to Insomniac for telling it how it is in the development cycle: there will always be one reviewer that has to b*tch about something when the gameplay is what is most important. Innovation is good too, but the same standards should be applied to all games. If you are unable to do so, you should either find somebody that can, or resign.
I expect nothing less from the PS3 in Japan.

This sorta reminds me of the PS one era. The N64 had a similar achilles heel when it came to the game Cartridge. Developers were literally struggling to squeeze big games onto that small cartridge; they didn't come out on multiple cartridges, but games like Final Fantasy VII ended up being a PlayStation exclusive as a result for "not enough space".
Like the N64, it won't kill the 360, but making bigger games is gonna get harder from here on out.
