Wow, that was a pretty close race between Sony and Microsoft, but what really shocks me is that the PS3 managed to edge out the 360 for the first time...eva in December.
Not if I have to wear glasses. IF I need glasses to see 3D, then its simply premature.
Yet his headline claims it will own 2010...
Huuuuuuh????????

The old Nick is gone now... The noughties ruined everything that was great about Nick and Cartoon Network.

I been a big fan of the Sonic series for quite some time. My personal favorites of the 3D era were the Adventure series, as each one had a great concept on how Sonic should work in 3D space. It also gave each character a "purpose" and wasn't just "there"(well, maybe Big the cat is the exception on this one. He's alright, I guess.)
I have played the 2D ones as well on the genesis. They always had their own sense of atmosphere, but I was never that good at them ...
Well, to be more accurate, Mr. Needlemouse was Sonic's original codename prior to him being named Sonic.
Are you telling me that Sonic started "sucking" with Sonic Adventure and its sequel?
just what exactly are you smoking?
As for the characters, yeah, I think they should put some sort of a cap on it. I think Sega gets it that too many characters can be a bad thing. Not many people seemed to noticed but the cast of Sonic Unleashed is the smallest cast of any 3D Sonic game to date. The only character you played as was Sonic(and his wolf form), so yeah.., I think ...
Trust me, its 2D.
The werehog was more obvious because of this promo http://www.psu.com/media/wa...

Finally, some boxart. ^_^
dazzalfc - The PS2 is a last gen console. The Wii is from this gen.
I'm intrigued by these "brand-new experiences" that Natal plans on bringing.
Its not that Japan is no longer relevant in the world of gaming, its just that you are noticing more types of games coming from Europe and America. And gamers these days pay more attention to where a game comes from then when I was growing up when RPG's were just that: RPG's.
I also don't think its fair to measure the worth of one country based on one genre alone either. There are many genres of gaming that all countries enjoy, so limiting Japan to just one doesn't do the nation jus...
Not anytime soon. I'm sure Microsoft will see this to the end as Sony.
It's also the "definitive" 3D racing sim of this generation.
I can't seem to play the video all the way. Any one else have this problem. It stops after, like, 2 seconds.
3.1- more like a self fulfilling prophecy. ^_^
