"Kickball in hd with your team around the world. I'm talking real kick ball like we used to play at the park when we were kids."
Only you would have to run in place to run to all the bases. I think I'll stick with the other one.
It looks nice.
yeah, it really does defy the laws of time and space.
The key word here is "High-Resolution". This is Nintendo we're talking about here. There upgrades are almost always modest, so it'll most likely output a solid 480p resolution more akin to the Gamecube.
I highly doubt that Nintendo actually meant HD graphics when he said "High-Resolution". I suspect that the next DS will feature graphics on par with the GameCube, and running at crystal clear 480p resolution.
It'll essentially be the GBA of this generation.
but I thought Nintendo abandoned the hardcore...>.>
While that maybe true on a technical level, I'm more looking forward to newer genres o be explored, as well as, newer ways to control your games and be immersed.
The hardware is actually twice the speed of the Gamecube, so the first Xbox would be more accurate.
1.6- yeah, that's why Sony and Microsoft are scrambling to find their own motion-controlled solution.
I completely agree with Nintendo. There is so much more to be explored in the field of gaming, and so many ventures to travel in the design of video games.
and yes, 2010 is gonna be one of the best years yet for gaming.
I'm surprise with Sonic's rating...As its exactly how I feel where Sonic is right now.
I always felt with the Sonic franchise that it is kinda in the middle. The 2006 title Brought a few good ideas (much emphasis on the word "few"), but was simply unfinished as a product, and Yuji Naka's leave didn't make things any better. The Sonic Franchise saw light at the end of the tunnel With Sonic Unleashed, which brought vivid HD worlds in 2D and 3D, but was panned by critics for...

A New Year. A New Article from HHG.
So, you haven't played Mario Galaxy, Zelda, the Metroid Prime Trilogy, or even some of the great WiiWare games?
That's a very inaccurate generalization of the Wii, as the Wii has about twice the horsepower of the Gamecube. It also can do more things than the Gamecube such as going online, receiving messages on standby, and have backwards compatibility to all previous Nintendo platforms along with a few popular non-Nintendo consoles.
I'm quite sure the Gamecube wasn't even remotely capable of that.
^^
all kinds of denial in the post above me.
The Xbox has needed Halo since 2001. It is one of the few games to define the Xbox portfolio, and would be some task to preform without it.
The previous decade, for me, was a bit of both bitter and sweet memories. The first half of the decade was great with innovative titles like Shadow of the Colossus till being pumped out, and Game consoles like the PS2 and DS beginning their prime. The first half felt more like an extension to the 90's in comparison to the second half, which started great with releases like the Nintendo Wii platform and Super Mario Galaxy, but the over saturation of the Shooter genre hit a climax point with too...
Haven't seen that guy in a while...
