As long as innovation continues to thrive along our favorite franchises, then I have no problem with it.
that's what I thought as well.
I miss the days when "the games" were the things that mattered most in press confereces.
One company "winning" E3 is entirely subjective, and merely comes down to a common opinion. Popular sites, such as IGN, Gamespot and Cnet(to name a few), can't change that.
Its still an opinion, Even if its supported by a popular website.
Its bundles like these that make me question the potential demographic..
=_=
online sales say one thing, but the actual sales of the home platforms say something else.
guess Microsoft isn't so different from Sega after all.

Seems like the concept of voice recognition has been around since the beginning of this decade.
We shouldn't jump to conclusions when the device hasn't even been released yet.
Big words from a company who doesn't make consoles.
I'll just wait and see. My PSP-2000 can download games too, so that's enough for me.
looks like someone just "won" the internet. ^_^
I think the gamers are the real winners this E3, as well as, this entire generation.
The whole "who won" thingy was entertaining at first, with Sony's showing and the rush to debate, but with E3 drawing to a close, and the adrenaline starting to taper off a bit, I think its starting to get a little silly with "who won this" and "Natal rules" and whatever.
Nintendo also rejected sheer horsepower in favor of a new way to control games, and look where we are now.
Rejection can work both ways; its the execution that counts.
This bickering on "who won" and whatnot is getting a little annoying and pointless(the comments are kinda entertaining though).
Still, There's never going to be a resolve like this, and it seems E3 is starting to become a little less looking forward to as a result.
I am ashamed to what post-E3 has become.
Everyone seems confident that this technology will change gaming.
I hope they have that same confidence when the thing actually releases with tangible games.
lol, I don't think they met "only possible" in comparison to other consoles. They simply met that because of the Wii's processor, they can now make a 4-player platformer.
you guys were simply reading this headline the wrong way. Its no secret that the Wii is outclassed, graphically, so why would they imply that its only possible on Wii?
lol, I couldn't resist ^_^
Sure is interesting how we are all debating on which motion contol interface is superior...
and to think that just a few weeks ago, The whole concept of motion control was declared a "gimmick."
same here.
Nintendo's conference came pretty close with those two games alone.
(mario and Metroid)
I don't know about you guys, but that Metroid trailer was really badass.
definately a high C+ grade for me on Nintendo's showing.
If those are the actual graphics in-game, then I am officially impressed. My only beef with the trailer is the car stunts themselves. Although the stunts were executed well, and beautifully, it sort of contradicts what Forza 3 actually is: a racing sim.
