well, he made Boom Blox...
that was a good game.
I'm surprised everybody forgot about this commercial...
it will happen.
the avatar one looks cool
looks like the Wii took the number one spot again for console sales.
and people were thinking the "Wii fad" was finally over
I've said it before, and I'll say it again:
just because a console begins to pick up sales and starts outselling a console, doesn't mean its gonna last. Even if its for a few months.
I couldn't agree more.
all they need now is some high-budget game commercials on G4, and we would be good to go. ^_^
lol, that's what I noticed on the actual site.
guess I'm not the only one that noticed...
"eE53"
could mean E3
does anyone see what I mean?
its not hard to spot if you pay attention to the countdown "flashes"
Hey Guys!
I think there's a hidden message in the countdown flashes.
I've been looking at the flases for the past five minutes and I came up with this:
"eE53"
It goes in sequence, so you'll have to watch the site to see what I mean. every "letter" and "number" occurs every 30 seconds or so.
An explanation would be nice.
If I am wrong, then why don't you reply...
I wasn't implying that Miyamoto isn't great, he is, but he is only human, and calling him a "god" is kinda exaggerating.
Miyamoto-san is simply a very good game designer. That is all. Seeing him as a "god" just because almost every game he makes is a hit, doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, and just shows how much some developers(and even gamers) need to grow up and see it for what it is.
interesting...
E3 is that much closer
Once again, the PS store delivers.
the amount of classics to choose from are simply overwhelming.
lmao
that post did massive damage
just compare the sales of blu-ray to the average sales of digital distribution of what have you.
then compare the blu-ray sales to DVD.
the sales speak for themselves.
Not necessarily.
The article is merely pointing out the possibilities that a higher disk capacity could create for the next Xbox, given that Microsoft is at a crossroads with what their next storage solution would be(blu-ray or what).
Regardless, there are bigger blu-rays in the works which could counter this argument; in short: Sony has not much to worry about at this point of storage.
DVD is kinda like this generation's Gamecube disks(or GD-roms..whatever).
It gets the job done, but its kinda pushin it.
lol, still aways to go I'm afraid.
Makes sense to me.
It seems that Sony is always the one to introduce the next standard physical medium.
PS one- CD(well...sorta i.e. saturn, sega CD, etc.)
PS2- DVD
PS3-blu-ray?
Of course, Microsoft could always go the Nintendo route, as in make an alternative medium that does the exact same thing as blu-ray without it being blu-ray( Nintendo has taken this approach since the GCN to avoid license fees and such).
I second TheExecutive's post.
Online DLC, at this point, will still remain an alternative distribution service that will instead compliment the physical media standard.
Long Live Circuit City !
