I like how on this site, people think a corporation like sony or ms only makes video game consoles. I hate to tell you guys, but they make a lot of other things that were also going through restructuring. I'm pretty sure the Bravia took a nice chunk of this if i'm not mistaken!!

If the author didn't like the "preachyness", then go play gears of war or god of war. MGS is meant to be deep and philosophical, not gory and a lot of "actiony" things. Leave these kinds of games to the people that have the intelligence and wisdom to understand their message and impact
I like how in this generation we label games as RPG's when they aren't really in the genre at all. It seems like if a game gives the ability to customize one little thing, its suddenly an RPG. I wouldn't really call Mass Effect an rpg. This is like the people that called the FPS Bioshock an RPG. They are great games, dont get me wrong, I just think we are starting to stretch the genre a little.
I hate to say it, but I've always thought they were together too. Kinda sad, but yeah...it seems kinda obvious; either that or they just have really really good chemistry on the show, lol!

I like how in games today we slap a little character customization in them and call them RPG's. Don't get me wrong I loved the first Mass Effect, but it really really isn't an RPG...come on guys...
Sadly if we are going to grade the actual conference I would have to give M$ the higher grade just due to the fact that it did have more flare, which is what it seems like we are really talking about. In terms of actual "STUFF" to show, its obvious and numerically factual that Sony had more. I do wish SONY would have been able to show more of their exclusives in their conference like White Knight and Twisted Metal instead of talking so much. Just my opinion.

I am a fan of Metal Gear games. I've played Splinter Cell games. In my opinion, Splinter Cell does NOT HOLD A CANDLE to any kind of depth or existential questioning that Metal Gear has. This is a joke!
