I have read a lot of these comments and I'm wondering if a lot of folks have based their experiences solely on D3? I grew up on D1 and D2 and HATED D2 (that might be too strong of a word to describe feelings towards a game but you get my point). I am personally excited by D4's apparent return to the atmosphere, design, and narrative that made D1 and D2 so memorable and classic.
Except this is made up of the people who originally made Naughty Dog and Bioware good. Anthem us a result of folks like this leaving and the studio that still exists making a game without their talent and leadership.
Honestly...can't we have both shows? Lol
NO....F'ING...WAY!!!!!!! YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
Fun!
@Sciurus_vulgaris...don't forget Steam itself lol
I think this highlights the bigger problem of including story driven content as a paid for dlc.
This is great news for gamers with disabilities!
@Jeece
I think he was just trying to place some perspective on some in-group/out-group biases (e.g. thinking everyone outside of your group is bad and everyone inside of your group is good which is rarely the case but....human brains lol).
@hankhill...
If you are really more upset about a video game being censored (likely a game you will never play anyway) over an entire group of people who are a frightened by the prospect of a somewhat high profile game depicting a horribly cliched violent minority as their majority to a Western audience, then I believe you need to reevaluate what truly makes you so upset about the situation. I would bet it's not about a video game lol ;)
The truth is, racial ...
As a PC gamer (not exclusively) I really enjoy the value of games pass. It's great that I can play a new game for essentially $12 lol
@DigitallyAfflicted
No, a lot of these people don't read. It's a combination of sensationalist outrage and the social media-fication of attention spans to only process short spurts of characters and damn the rest of the article and its actual content.
The older I get, the more irrelevant and frivolous fanboydom appears...
Well put! I think the idea of people who were adults before video games existed telling us we are too old for them are out if their element. Videi games are new(ish) enough that that concept of being "too old" for them is irrelevant...what is the standard to base it against? It doesn't exist because video games are older than a lot of people who play them. I'm in my mid thirties and grew up with them. Why should I stop? I wonder if the same thing was said after the invention...
This is not a new thing...most computers have CMOS batteries, I've replaced several over the years because of similar impact on OS's and software. Just change it or reseat it and all is good. Not quite the crisis situation some outlets are making it out to be...5 MI uses and you're back in business fir a other decade lol. Plus wouldn't connecting to the PSN force update the internal clock anyway?
Meh...I realized this past week that I've always ended up playing Bethesda games on the PC anyway....ugh better modding community there bs consoles.
Yessss pleaseee!!!!!!
@NODOZE, don't blame Sony. Blame the people making bots to purchase hundreds of PS5's in order to drain inventory so normal people don't have access and are forced to pay $1000...
I think we also need to keep in mind that with the NEW PS+ launching, the impact of the free PS+ games may start looking different if these games are already available on higher subscription tiers.
