@turtle
I was thinking the same thing. As one poster said above, this sends a very negative image about gamers. Whether it's immaturity or people being naive, this reflects poorly on gamers. We should be supporting the people that were hurt and coming together as a nation, not making a joke out of it. Regardless of what people think, this is exactly what happened, people turned a national tragedy into a joke in the hopes of getting internet hits...Sad day...
@thexonysbox
Tell all of the people in Boston to lighten up. I agree that people live free and not be afraid of the future...carpe diem, but there are also things known as timing and tact. Because of the TIMING of this funny joke, it lacked TACT.
Give it a year or so and it would have been a little funny!
The problem with blaming the media is that for the most part, a lot of EuroZone countries, Canada, and Asian countries watch the same media that we do and have nowhere near the levels of violent crime that we have. There is something else going on and blaming video games, movies, music, etc. just kicks the can down the road so to speak.
@ Kurt Russell
To make your point pertinent, you really need to include in these crimes the %TOTAL from the population.
There is a big difference between America's 300+million people and South
Africa's 50million people.
Did you even read the article?
No it was changed because everyone was ticked off at the title which is misleading in hindsight. Quit thinking changes are made just to 'one up' you. This was an honest mistake that was corrected.
It was so bad it needs to be mentioned this year as well lol
@andibandit
...but what IS straightforward is the fact that by incarcerating him for life, you are making people give their money (taxes) in order to make sure these piles of filth are fed, watered, and otherwise kept comfortable. Besides, I think he has already f'd up his family by murdering his two week old baby in a rage...Even if he did get out someday. I'm pretty sure there is no law stating that he can never impregnate another woman thus having chance at the s...
Wow, looks like a lot of people forgot to take their Prozac today...either that or the heat is getting to everyone, lol
...for a couple months until the next COD comes out for the PS4/Xbox720, lol.
Oh nintendo, how out of touch you are...
It's funny, because for a long time now, I've thought that innovation and stories that peak imagination are solely in the realm of books and video games. Movies are nothing but explosions and love stories that have been rehashed. This is an example of nothing but closed minded genre hate!
I know what you mean. It's like games can't have individual flavors anymore but have to instead follow the lather, rinse, repeat evolution of call of gears...
Are there any games that are...you know...different coming out?
I call shenanigans!!!
If anyone from EA reads these kinds of forums, I beg you...Please don't ruin this franchise like you have others! Dead Space 1 was awesome, please bring back the horror!
Well I know for a fact that when PC's get consoles ports, I am always hurting to find a way to turn UP the graphics, resolution, etc on my computer. SKyrim was limited on launch because of the console counterparts. My PC eats up anything the PS3 can throw at it (I also love my PS3 as much as my PC). I'm just sayin'...
And how long has it been since he has made a good game....????
I stopped reading at "...this game could have been a lot more better...".
Where do internet journalists come from these days?
@ r1sh12
The main reason KOTOR probably isn't on the list is because "KOTOR 3" has already been made. It's called Star Wars: The Old Republic. If you havne't tried it yet, do so. You will find it is very much Kotor 3!
In case noone knows, Bioshock 2 was actually made by a different team than the first bioshock. Infinite is actually Levine's sequel.
@ Skarlett
I'm trying to b ea good guy and let you know ealier rather than later...but....Nintendo isn't having an E3 conference this year
Nothing good will come of this...
