So its an RPG because you level up and choose dialog? What a sad state of affairs the gaming world is in...I guess you could make a racing game that you level up in and people would call that an RPG It's almost as if people are defending calling things RPGs that really aren't so that they can TOTALLY DILUTE the genre and erase it while still calling games and RPG. I guess it's an excuse to do away with traditional JRPGs...We really have to be careful or all we will have left are COD clones...

Trust me, I've probably played RPG games even before you knew what they were! If you're trying to use rhetoric to make my opinion look foolish, I'm afraid it won't work. I have ME2, it's a good game, but one thing it is not is an RPG. Honestly, it's a TPS!!!! There's nothing wrong with that, but to say that this game stands up against classic RPG's like Balders Gate, Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, etc is just plain ludicrous!!! I like how people are calling this an RPG even though the skill ...
Sorry, this title goes to either Chrono Trigger or FF7...You know, games that were actually RPGs!!!!

The only problem I had with the 1st game and what sounds like (from all the reviews) even more so for ME2 is how people are praising this as the first great RPG of the year, while at the same time taking out basically every aspect that makes an RPG.
All in the name of streamlining games...Sooner or later a game will consist of watching the trailer and then having to pay $80!!!
It's up to us to make sure that games don't continue to become lobotomized for the stupides...
