Haha, people forget how HORRIBLE MS's E3 was this year. Plus the fact that not many people in an install base are going to buy these new motion controls.

Nintendo hit people with the "new" factor with the Wii. Most everyone I know bought a Wii because they thought it was cool, then forgot they had it about a month or two later. Since that wow factor has surely faded, I think it will be hard for MS or Sony to really sell they motion controllers. I guess I am a little biased though, after working all day, doing errands, going out, exercise...when I play a game I just want to play through a good story, not through a ball between two ...

Honestly, people are going to buy this game for whatever console they have. People with all consoles might choose between them but let's face it, a vast majority of people only have one console. Depending on how you use it yes...I use my PS3 for everything: wireless video streaming to my tv via PC, wireless netflix, blu-ray, games, music, file storage, etc....
Regardless of other equally valuable items in the market now, yes the PS3 is worth it as are many other things as well!
Then again, there are a lot of things that Americans don't like...
Like eating correctly, valuing education, prioritizing correctly (family over jobs)...
But they sure do love nascar, sports, and drinking...
The point is you DON'T deserve it...If you don't like it, then don't buy it!
Vickers...you really ARE the PROBLEM. You see the reasoning and causation behind these things and still seem to think you deserve it. That is just WRONG! It's one thing to be ignorant of change and accept things as they come, it is a different matter entirely to play off of progress and hide within its set of norms just so you can get more stuff and not have anyone scold you for it.

This article would work except for the fact that Sony has had a "slim" for every generation of consoles they have made. This is like MS knowing that Sony was going to make a slim, come out with their own slim (their first slim iteration ever mind you) and then try and say that they had this invented before the PS3 slim came out...but not the PS2 slim or the PSX (PS1 slim...)...
Yeah I hate to break it to some people, but you actually have to PAY for things sometimes. Anyone who has every played a "decent" MMO knows that this is standard. I honestly don't know where the confusion ever existed...people thought this would be free??? Seriously, people can't be that stupid!!!
