Some of the effects look great but it still has that unreal engine plasticness to most materials.
Pffft, why won't they go away!?
Anon are like headlice anoying and persistant!
To be honest attacking Sony right now is a bit like going to Japan for some looting as theyre a public company and and the countrys in crisis, what are they trying to prove really? That they're extremely ignorant and childish?
Catridges kick arse! I like my expensive chips of plastic.
About time! :D
Awesome, I'm stuck on the dark world of rapture at the moment.
This review perfectly sums up a couple of PC Gamers I know- two paragraphs or so on the game, three pages on the graphics settings.
The game doesn't look dramaticly better on the PC apart from overall screen resolution as far as I can see, Crytek did a great job getting their engine to fit multiplatform.
I'm gonna get one, just waiting for some original games I want for it in the hope it will be a touch cheaper by then as well.
I agree, I'm not going to get it until the patch is live- half the reason I want it is just to push my rig to the max.
I kinda wonder if its a almost like a piracy deterent so pirates get an inferior version.
Ditto, I'll probs need a second card to run it max. My 5870 doesn't seem to do all that fantastic in teselation benchmarks.
On the plus they are getting cheaper slowly they're already a hundred quid cheaper than when I bought it.
Thats very very awesome.
I hope theres a secret 'stupid amounts of blood' mode, could do with more blood. :)
I got to test out a 3ds at work today :P
Heres my little take on it:
It seems really good, Street Fighter plays perfectly and it's easy to pull of the moves with the circle pad as it seems more forgiving than a console controller (I play on PC with the tournamunt stick normally- not that I'm any good).
I can't comment on the 3d so much because of my lazy eye but on the camera mode (which seems like one the coolest and most fun f...
I've got Resi5 Gold, but I personally don't get on with it with the move- the control layout isn't very good imo.
I dissagree about Sports Champions being for beginners I have been stuck on Kenji on the gold cup of table tennis since about a week after it launched- I find it extremely challenging!
I thought Killzone played really well with it aswell, did you use the sharpshooter?
This game is looking gooooood.
The PSP phone is on 2.3- 3.0 is tablets only
PSP2 is primary a gaming device Android second and it will more than likey be the phone series of Android.
Hahaha no. I finally got round to buying a DS Lite recently (I know I'm a few years late) and IMO that is a FAARRRR superior gaming to device to an iPad (I play with the demo one at work but don't own one) purely for having a propper range of games and decent *responsive* controls (glorious buttons and d-pad).
We had a rep from Motorola in the other day to show us the Zoom tablet or whatever its called- the Android 3.0 one and cool as it was as media player/netbook re...
I find it a lot of fun, but i have to have table to rest my arm on or I get tired pretty quick.
One thing I think would help control schemes for it though is 90 degree turn buttons so you can precisely turn 90 degrees or press them both for a 180 then use the bounding box for more subtle camera movements. That would also allow for a larger deadzone and more of a lightgun feel to aiming.
I was kinda tempted to get a Rock Band 3 Strat for a cheap midi compatible guitar.
I'm interested but not sold. I mean I can just go on guitarbackingtrack.com for free and play to most of my favs.
Isn't that pretty much what Square said about FF13?
All sounds good!
I hope Wrex is recruitable he's one of my favourites.
I'm really pleased it doesn't have multiplayer too it's been killing the quality of single player this gen in some genres.
Mass Effect is my favourite IP this gen hands down, quite possibly in ever in fact.
