The system splits the fps if two controllers are used. Wtf?! They try and talk it up by saying 30fps per pad screen....but, it also does the same for the tv too! That's IF the game your playing is 60fps ala cod.

Next yr is the reveal. So it's almost certain 2014 is release date for 720/ps4
If they ramp up due to ninny having a yr...then sure 2013.
But after e3 WiiU conference....as I've been saying all along....Sony & MS aren't worried, WiiU is garbage.

When PS4 & 720 release....they will completely destroy ninny. But ninny won't care. They have casuals who don't care about powerful hardware.
But inially both Sony & MS will pay heavily to get 3rd party to buy into the newer more expensive gaming tech race. And....unless MS can start buying 1st party devs....they will be at a huge disadvantage.
Sony just keeps plugging away at high calibur AAA titles from its 20+ 1st party devs.

And yeah, you should worry about 360 next year e3. This means that 2014 will launch ps4/720....e3 2013 will be the initial unveiling. Unless they change the entire buisness model to launch Xmas 2013. I doubt that.

I really hope people see now. Nintendo need a wake up call. Casuals money won't support you this next gen....why would they buy a WiiU over Wii?

I believe the hype train is chugging along for Ninny, but I don't believe after the dust has settled...that it will be the 1080p @ 60fps beast we all expect next gen to be.
I love Nintendo, I love Sony....but, only one of these is likely to deliver 3yrs into their next gen cycles.
I will say this.....MS knows how much a year does for your market share. Sony knows from the other side. So how they both decided letting ninny have a free year astounds me. ...
WiiU is a joke...you just ain't privy to it yet.
I never thought of this before....but it makes a lot of sense. Porting to the WiiU might be easy. But games made for WiiU that are not paid exclusives - the costs of limiting the game to just one console is not a viable option anymore.
Just another real reason why making a controller radically different can be a mistake.

So....do we assume that businesses are in the habit of showing one thing while doing something else completely? No. You can generally rely on a company to do what it does...adding improvements and curing costs. That's buisness.

From an art perspective....let a great story end. Don't force upon it weak sequels that may feed the fans...but, compromises the greatness of the epic.

The problem isn't whether a game after many iterations should keep pumping out sequels....
The problem is when the central premise and characters no longer have anything meaningful to say. It's like books or movies......don't make a sequel unless you aim to be better than the original.
Often that means that the sequel is lucky to be as good as the original.
With MGS...it's not going to get better than great. Same applies to Halo. <...
