It's got issues. But it plays well enough. Cover system is only truly broken mechanic. And it was patched recently - so I have no idea if it plays better.
It isn't a good RE game & it's alternate reality slant is meh.

I loved Rayman origins on ps3. But, after playing it I felt done with platformers. I have to wonder if gaming as its matured, went away from platformers for a reason? Kiddies and retro lovers still get it of course. But, after you play Mario & rayman on wiiU...where to next? What will the system offer after the kiddish games you've finished? Reviews in context of their predecessors and genre should be modified. Spidey last two were generally poorly received. But had moments of greatness. Web of shadows had the best open world with great web swing mechanics.
This new amazing Spidey is better open world with slightly different web swing. The attach web swing to ? Clouds? Bugs some. Not me.
Fighting is much improved. Web rush is quite tight and I dig it.
Overall. Best Spidey game...

Only mildly cool thing about WiiU besides the over used but still loved Nintendo ips is the hinted at price point. Iwata keeps doing interviews strongly hinting at a lowe...
People thought I was crazy being semi-excited for this game. While I never place too much on reviews....rather trust my instinct and demos - the majority of 7-9 reviews makes me happy for a new ip.

While the obvious is obvious.....I also loved the counter system. Really good players can pull off counters back and forth without land a blow! Crazy to see.

By all accounts it's really good. Once you accept the web swinging by clouds (no not really....they just attach to ? off screen)....you'll love it!

Applies to game use. Maps, inventory screens....anything that takes your eyes away from games on TV seems stupid - unless your playing single player games. And even then it's rather silly.
If its free sure, a inventory screen for rpg might be ok....but not needed, more fun or required.

No. Sadly no. WiiU should be at minimum 2-3x a 360 in terms of ram, physics and graphics capabilities.
