So US spying on its people via phones and Internet are now getting a brand new spybox.
Has anyone else thought of the obvious? If the US is now open about their spying. (They say they don't target US citizens on their Internet usage...riiiight)...what's the stance other countries will take on banning xbone outright?! Not only is it a survalliance device by definition - it's reporting back info to the US MS data servers. Which US have now been found out on data mi...
The thing is - lets assume the graphic artist/web designer isn't a gamer.
Aren't the asserts for the site provided by a MS person who knows what's what?
If anyone has a link to the mythical "kinect camera can be turned off, and you can still use the xbone to play games" I'd love to read it.
I'm of the mind that if you throw enough money at a game you can make amazing things provided the devs are skilled and give a damn.
But MS has proven time n time again that they don't care enough to produce a technical marvel that plays amazing. They get games that indeed play amazing....but fail the tech boundary push.
Graphics aren't everything however. So it's not a huge deal.
This is exactly what I believe xbone will do.
They'll announce a sub to own ($199+3yrs of $15 a month for example)....this will go very well with many. The economy is crap. Many cant afford $599 (though I think ps4 will be $399-$499)....
So many who don't realize the issues here with DRM and always on kinect....they'll buy into the carefully paid for hype.
This battle makes that HD-DVD vs bluray look like nothing.
Godmars290 - he sees the truth!
MS is known for misrepresentation and disregarding the same people that put them on the gaming map.
#dealwithit lulz
Since ps4 can literally never go online and still function as a gaming machine....this DRM fight is mostly a xbone issue.
Yes....their might be something Sony implements, but it'll be far less intrusive. So I won't say I won't go Sony if they implement DRM to some lesser degree than xbone.
I was fine with online passes. Not because I believe pubs deserve a cut of used sales....but because stores like GameStop make the situation infinitely worse!...
Cleft5 - exactly!
Though the DRM gotta go to.
Today I went to EB to pick up remember me...but I couldn't do it. Reviews were all over the place but mostly mid-low range. I transferred it to bf4.
Why am I telling you this?
In the past with trades I'd risk El Shaddai, spec ops the line, Alice in wonderland, blur, fuse...list goes on and on. But money is tight recently.
With xbone I couldn't take the chance....I'...
I can't wait for my kinect to pause my game and tell me I'm pressing the buttons on my controller incorrectly - "please stand by while we connect to a friend to play this section for you". ;)
Yes. I will not play an xbone beyond a store kiosk.
Their are factors:
-it's a spybox. Out of principle I don't wanna support their lvl of DRM and targeted marketing.
-pay to play online has always been un-consumer friendly. When your peers are offering online play free.
-they abandon hardcore gamers.
-they fracture the gaming community by buying tined exclusives.
-they have ads everywhere on a machine I not only paid for t...
You missed fun and smooth gameplay.
Glitch free, challenging AI and tight menu system for tracking trophy/achievements.
It's a generic.....fun game. I attribute it's poor sales to genre fatigue, word of mouth from poorly informed individuals. Some who actually played the demo and dislike it I wholly respect. Many however didn't even bother trying it.
Mirrors edge 2 - I'll cry if its xbone only!
Because I'm not touching a spybox with walled garden.
Better story be you die saving your dog.
Then the dog seeks vengeance!
(Jokes aside.....I'd play that!)
At later lvls....season 5....it's really bad.
Too fast and AI is too aggressive. I've failed face off races by getting rammed by the AI opponent!
Also, some races with the super cars are so fast and requires perfection. This might be ok on hard. But I'm playing on easy! I chose easy so this lvl of break perfection I'd be spared from!
While I believe GameStop could've worked out a deal with publishers to avoid this mess - this mess is inbound.
MS are disgusting, forcing this agenda on behalf of publishers.
If I was GameStop I'd still sell xbone....not!
FYI the game is fun as fuk and really polished. I'm loving it!
Gears has better art and over the top violence.....otherwise, this game matches it. Minus competitive play.
Gears gets 9s.....this game gets hate.
Weird shiz
I want to know how short it is.
That's a factor for me. Doesn't have to be 20hrs...a tight decent 8hrs is great!
But 6hrs would disappoint.
I have it prepaid....I like these types of games. Story is most important and this seems to have it.
I've played many games this gen in the 6-8/10 range that turned out to be most memorable.
-el shaddai
-enslaved
-shadows of the damned
I lik...
7/10 is quite good! Especially for a 1st game from a dev and new ip.
It's gotta be something to do with Ninny online store policies? Odd thing is - why don't the devs tell us why?
- edit
Both technically and factually the wiiu is us current gen.
Deal with it.
I wonder......is there any reason why a kickstarter info campaign couldn't be done to inform about xbone? Imagine the shiztorm that MS would be in if we could match their ad campaign with truth coverage!
Sadly, they have more money than morals.
