I attribute this to these factors:
-stupidity
-reasonable expectation of a wish coming true. Ie-ps4 much harder to get means you wish for the other guy since its in stock. Yes...I was at Walmart in toronto and they had 5 xbones behind glass.

The alternative that someone would want an xbone over a ps4 is too horrid to comprehend.

I enjoyed origins. Writing was indeed better. And gameplay is tried and true.
Creatively? They added mp! Which when it was working was fun! But I couldn't keep the game hoping they'd ever patch the matchmaking.

These games are heavily padded with search & collect. It used to be a thing devs did to incentivize gamers to go off the beaten path. Now its just blown up to add hours of gameplay.
But, I really like the mp. Its unique and gorgeous. Lots of modes and patience is rewarded over twitch play.

Truth is kinect should've been shown relevant to core gaming by MS owned/exclusive moneyhatted devs/pubs.

New ips (not innovative but simply ips adults are interested in.), better messaging, fresh leadership, revamping online and account systems.
And if they really wanted to make money....beyond the billions they previously made from blind luck....start a plan to launch their ips on other consoles. Kill their home consoles. Fund the crap out of handhelds. Make sure they can out-spec the best tablets/phones yet a fraction of price.

two biggest issues with this PR spin from MS....

I loved every minute of this plat. Incredibly deep and fun side scroll RPG. The art style is oversexalized because artist intended it that way. We gamers aren't all children....and just because there's big covered up boobs...in no way diminishes a great game as this.

Gamers today....the ones who fork out 2 games a month....aren't interested in WiiU for tons of reasons.
Ninny needs to invest in new mature ips. Games aren't only for kids anymore. And those games that meet both markets are either not many or not robust enough to meet demand. ($60 game that keeps you motivated 4-6months after launch. And have steady stream of dlc that is both worth it to gamers and lines Ninny's pockets).
To say buy a ps4 + WiiU...

I ave nostalgia for Ninny....but I'm not compelled to play any games now that I've lived through nes-to now.
