Blame devs because of PS3's less capable hardware? The game was almost too ambitious for consoles. You guys are lucky the devs were willing to fight ps3's less capable hardware and brought you the game.

The game and its tech is too ambitious for PS3 hardware. Being mad at the developer is pointless, be mad at Sony after all they designed PS3 and then had Sony's best come in and tried to help bethesda to no avail.

Skyrim is a huge living and breathing world that is dynamic and continually remembers and processes huge amounts of data on the fly in real time with a massive world and realistic leaning graphics.
This game takes huge amounts of RAM and a capable GPU. PS3's issues have nothing to do with which platform was the lead.
The developers are not bad developers but epic developers, they simply make games unmatched in ambition and scope and in a technical sense....

Next gen standards Will be much more than graphics. Just as the 369 shown this generation capability will be judged on sandbox game design.
Next generation the standard will be set on how well a console can do multiple things at once in the background while the game is playing. Graphics will be important. Horsepower allowing to run games with massive and complex living worlds with advanced social online features.

If you're really saying JRPG's and platformers are less popular on the 360 you're right although that has more to do with those genres dying in general. The devs for this new MGS looks like they put effort in modernizing this game and redesigned great gameplay vs just for show. It will do great on the 360.

Are you kidding me? I've seen hundreds of disagrees given to people showing proof of this game being multi platform to hundreds of PS fans on three differnt sites in denial or being misinformed by pro Sony media.

Although I don't think the Wii U will be as powerful as the 720 and PS4 by far and find nintendo fans nieve and hostile at times, a 720p port has little to do with the capability of its hardware.

There is no way in hell the bulk of casual kids, tweens, mom and grandma/pa will think this as being easy access, social pick up and play fun. Hell the grand kids and grand parents might not even grasp the concept.

It looks impressive. IMO the next xbox and Playstation will look like home theater pc's like this image because that is what they'll practically be, minus the the unneeded hardware, software/OS and power that actual pc's require or have.
*Aceman18* is trying to trick you guys. Oblivion came out on PC and 360 long before it came out on PS3. Bethesda had improved the engine with over a years worth of updates and enhancements. The PS3 version of Oblivion had the improvements the other versions did not. The other version were later patched with the updates.
